Hello and welcome to my collection of Hobbit-centric one-shots – children edition!
Here you will find a series of stories set in the world of Middle Earth, focusing on a few of our beloved characters that we all know and love. Along the way, there will also be one shots featuring some original characters – children who you may already know of if you read my first work “An Unexpected Collection: Adventures of the Company” and more.
Each one-shot explores prompts/imagines of life in their childhood and different early adventures and challenges they may have faced.

All imaginations are welcome here, and I’m eager to bring them to life.

At this stage, this work will only be posted to Ao3 as I have found this one to be the most successful site as of this stage – so if you see this work posted anywhere but here please let me know!
You will find one-shots featuring young, Bilbo, Fili, Kili, Ori, Gimli, Legolas – and a few sprinkled in of a young Bofur and his older brother and cousin.
I’m pretty sure I don’t have a whole lot of introducing with the above fellas – so on to my original characters.
Kralin, son of Dwalin & Myra – introduced in one shot “A Family Reunion” in an “Unexpected collection
Bilba, daughter of Dwalin & Myra – named after the one and only Bilbo Baggins. Not yet posted, but will be shared in a one shot “An Honour Most Unexpected” in an “Unexpected Collection”
Berno and Berilo – twin “nephews” of Bilbo, children of Beryl and Beraldo Baggins (Beraldo being Bilbo’s brother), who love nothing more than spending their time (and somewhat being menaces) to their favourite uncle
Lindi, Mindi & Rindi – triplet daughters of Gloin and Milli, curtusy of Bilbo’s ‘special tonic’ from the Shire. Introduced in one shot “Triple Threat” in an “Unexpected Collection”
Lili, daughter of Kili – who’s One and wife is Hilda Baggins, OC sister of Bilbo
So – the original Tolkien characters will be set pre-quest, with the original Trixie Glasco characters being post-quest.
