Ο Μέγας Θεός Παν είναι νεκρός
"The Great God Pan is Dead"
Chapter 1: Fall of the Titans
Some Time in the Near Future:
In the grand throne room of Olympus, Homer The Blind picked up his lyre and stood in front of an audience of Hero's and Gods alike.
Two regal figures, A Powerful man and a Divine Woman sat on thrones of marble and gold.
Homer strung a grand tune and cried out in a loud voice:
“Guide me Oh Muses. I, your servant Homer, beseech thee.
Use me as your instrument of your power and SING!
SING the tale of the Great God Pan. His death at the hands of Zeus and resurrection by the body of a mortal named… Harry Potter.”

Forests of Arcadia
2000 BC
The cloudy night sky was momentarily lit with a bolt of Lightning larger than anything Thamus has seen in his life. The shepherd felt the earth rumble beneath his feet. “Zeus is angry. We must flee. Run RUN!” yelled the village elder next to him.
Another bolt struck the poor elder from nowhere leaving a pile of ashes in its wake.
‘One does not invoke the name of the Lightning God in vain’ thought Thamus as he fled into the rainy night.
For 500 years the great war between the Olympians and the Dread Titans had raged. For Five hundred years Greece had been reduced to ruin by Olympian and Titan alike.
Poseidon had laid waste to Nisyros with a massive earthquake in order to flush out the mythic Titan Atlas. Dread Hades killed the sky Titan Hyperion whose death rained comets across the land. And Zeus? Zeus bathed the land in rain and lighting in order to anger and bait his father Cronos who hated chaos more than anything else.
Mortal kind had given up supporting any side in this conflict. Both God and Titans were monsters in their eyes. And none of them could be trusted.
None, save one.
The Great God Pan in the shadowed forests of Arcadia.
He alone of all the Gods shunned the Titanomachy. He alone, protected and fed his followers. He blessed Arcadia with fertile crops and saved them in times of plague and famine.
The Greeks flocked to this wild unkempt patch of forest in the foothills of Greece and honored him as their saviour.
‘A fact it seemed that had not escaped the notice of Zeus.’ thought Thamus.
Nimble as a mountain goat he headed towards the great temple of Pan hidden in a hillock deep in the forests. ‘Only Pan can save us.. Only he could -’. Thamus' heart sank at the sight of Pan’s temple. The large stone structure lay in ruin. It had been pulverized by what appeared to be multiple bolts of lightning. Even in the darkness Athnos could see the golden glow of Ichor, the diving blood of the Gods.
Pan was nowhere to be seen.
Thamus was about to leave when suddenly a strange glow filled the night. To his terror he spied a huge meteorite the size of ten men falling through the clouds right in this direction. Before he could move the glowing ball hit the ground in front of him knocking him off his feet.
When he slowly got up and cleared his eyes he saw a sight that would haunt his dreams to the end of his days.
A large woman lay in the crater naked in all her glory. Rough locks of green hair falling across her perfect breasts. Hips adorned in jewellery that barely hid her womanhood and muscular legs that looked like the statues that adorned Pan’s temple.
This was not human. This was a goddess. Sure enough once she stood up Thamus saw that she was easily double his height. The perfect beauty held what appeared to be a small babe in her hands.
“Thamus. Son of Iskos. Come Forth” She said, her voice reverberating in the night with POWER.
Dazed, he approached her. Up close he barely reached her inhumanly seductive hips. He raised his head and tried his best to look into her eyes and not be distracted by her .. appeal.
“ Ο Μέγας Θεός Παν είναι νεκρός … The Great God Pan is Dead” The Goddess said.
His heart sank. Arcadia was done then. The Divine being continued with a high clear voice:
“The Lightning Thief Zeus tricked the great Pan into fighting the Titans. Once Pan dispatched Cronos, Zeus betrayed him and struck him from behind with Lightning. The same Lightning that was promised to Pan by the Cyclops as reward for his service.
Only I, his wife Methis, was witness to Zeus’s treachery”,
Methis ! This beautiful woman was the Queen of the Olympians! Wife of Zeus himself.
She gently placed the babe in his arms. Power and Magick filled the air as if the elements themselves were listening to what Methis was about to say. Thamus felt his body begin to shiver in anticipation. The noise of the storm suddenly stilled.
“Hear now the curse of Pan:
Many centuries from now, When darkness fills the land and all hope is lost. When the oceans drink Arcadia, PAN Shall return!
The Great God shall be reborn as a child of Zeus. For his act of betrayal Zeus and all the Olympians shall be killed by his hand. All the remaining spawn of both God and Titan alike shall one day become conquered and enslaved to him. And in the end Zeus shall have his reckoning”
Silence and the sound of the rain slowly creeped back into the clearing. The magic of the moment had passed. Thamus knew that what he had heard was more than a mere curse.
It was Divine Prophecy.
Against the mighty Sky Father Zeus himself.
Suddenly the sky began to part and a huge chariot began to descend from the sky.
“ Run!” Methis said. Thamus the potter didn't need to be told twice. He fled with the babe into the Arcadian wilderness.

“You dare defy me? My own Wife? All I did was take what was rightfully ours!” Zeus slapped the divinely beautiful woman. A sickening crunch filled the night. His brothers and sisters, the seven Olympians, all looked away in shame.
Except for Hera. Hera had a gleeful expression on her face.
“Why? Why betray me for that.. that peasant goatherd?”
“Because he was kind to me…” Methis replied softly. She was on her knees now and was hugging herself defensively.
“Liar! I heard that little prophecy of yours. You conspire to replace me with one of my spawn.” Zeus paced the ground. A paranoid look filled his face. “ Tell me if Great Pan has the gift of True Prophecy then why was he so easy to kill?”
“Perhaps he believed in giving you a chance to be better,” said Methis.
“FOOL! Hera, Artemis.. find the child and kill it. Apollo Let loose a plague upon these lands. Let no man or child survive. Hermes, spread the word to the mortals: Pan is dead. Cronos has fallen. The age of Olympus has begun”
“And what about her Great Zeus?” asked Hera, her face twisted with bloodlust. “Shall.. We.. punish her together?” she slowly moved to remove Zeus’s toga.
“No. I have something .. special planned for her…”
To the horror of all in the clearing. Zeus transformed himself into the terrible likeness of their father the fallen Titan Cronos. Zeus opened his maw unnaturally long and revealed rows upon rows of vertical teeth. He slithered towards Methis. The many eyes of the transformed Olympian watched his erstwhile wife with sadistic glee. Even Hera shied away from him in disgust and fear.
‘Pan… Find me.. My Love’ thought Methis before the horror of Zeus’s teeth bit her flesh.
Methis screamed!

June 1872
Malfoy Estate, Glasgow Scotland.
A 18 year old Harry Potter woke up from his tormented sleep. It was the same dream again. His mind was still echoing the screams of the beautiful green haired woman from his nightmare. Luckily he had not screamed this time.
It took him a minute to return to reality. The clock at this side told him that it was near midnight. He gently nudged the feminine form that hugged him to the side and moved to the servant quarters to wash his face.
After a good scrubbing he slowly looked at his reflection.
He paused in horror.
His reflection had horns coming from his forehead. Rising high into the ceiling. He touched his forehead and felt nothing. He slowly reached out to the mirror.
The being in the mirror smiled and reached out to grab him! “There you are!”
Harry wretched his hand and pulled himself back. He stepped on someone's foot.
“POTTEEERRR!” Overseer Goyle’s voice rang out in the darkness. Harry gulped and turned to face the music.
A heavy hand landed on his shoulder. Harry's heart fell. Overseer Goyle had caught him. He was in trouble now.
