    Summary

It's been fifteen years since Sebastian Sallow's life changed forever, fifteen years since, as some would say, he became a "redeemed man."

Now, in the fourth and final long fic in the "Like Moths to a Flame" series, Sebastian finds himself caught between dreams and reality, haunted by the past in more ways than one. If that weren't enough, toss in a dash of ancient magic here and a bit of time travel there, and you've got a whole mess of problems.

Some endings are meant to be rewritten. Others were always meant to be. But which is which?

Sebastian wondered if he'd ever make it here. If time would be kind enough to allow him to come, to permit him to save Damien one final time. Some days he'd even wondered if time had closed its doors on him. But here, on this sunny, impossible summer day in 1891, he saw clearly: Time hadn't abandoned him. Time had only been... waiting.
