hellcheer flufftober 2025

Summary:

Fluffy, autumnal hellcheer drabbles 🎃🍁

Notes:

I hope you like...more drabbles! Specifically, Flufftober drabbles!

This one feels risky because T-rated fluff is not really my natural genre at all, but I wanted to challenge myself so here we are. 31 attempts at seasonal fluff. I cannot guarantee that all of this even is seasonal fluff but I tried!

(Once again, these are all 100 words each. No more, no less.)

Hope you enjoy!👻

Chapter 1: anniversary

Chapter Text

Chrissy is enveloped in darkness, the warm press of hands over her eyes. Shuffling forward as Eddie guides her carefully.

They stop. His hands vanish. Dim light glows. Before them is a table set with wine, spaghetti, and candlelight.

“Happy anniversary, baby.” Eddie squeezes her tight, kisses her fondly.

“It’s beautiful! You’re so sweet.”

Eddie pulls out a chair for Chrissy before sitting across from her.

An awkward silence. A too-wide distance between them.

“Wanna eat in the living-room?” Eddie asks.

“Yes!” She nods in relief.

“Wanna watch Hellraiser again?”

“Always.”

They clear the table and celebrate on the couch.

Chapter 2: pet-sitting

Chapter Text

“I’m pet-sitting Lion.” Chrissy sets the hissing cat on the bed.

Eddie peeks over her shoulder. “For a lion he’s got very little hair. Like…none.”

“He’s a Sphynx.” Chrissy smiles.

“Um. You’re bleeding.”

“He’s not used to strangers.”

“I’m getting a bandaid.”

“It’s just a scratch.”

Eddie retrieves the bandaid, circling it around her finger. “I’m more of a dog person.”

“Maybe try holding him?”

“After he attacked you? No thanks.”

“Please?” Chrissy places Lion in Eddie’s arms. “I think he likes you.”

“He’s squirming.”

“Try holding him close to your heart.”

Eddie obeys. Lion purrs.

They both melt.

Chapter 3: in vino veritas

Notes:

in vino veritas-"in wine there is truth"

Chapter Text

“You’re drunk, Cunningham.”

Under wild moonlight, Chrissy grins, stumbling.“That was strong wine.”

“It’s cute. Just…whoa.” Eddie catches her before she face-plants in a cold, wet leaf pile. “Where are your friends?”

“Ditched 'em-yes, hold me close...”

Eddie secures his arm around her, heart imploding. “And what would Jason think of this?”

“Fuck Jason.”

“You’re sassy when you’re drunk.” Eddie escorts her around giggling trick-or-treaters.

“You’re sexy...”

“I’m what?”

“Sexy!”

He burns cherry-red. “Should we pretend you never said that?”

“No.”

No?

“It’s the truth.”

A pause. “Got any more truths?”

“I think I’m in love with you.”

Chapter 4: set in another time

Chapter Text

Cristiona has broken many promises coming here.

The hilltop bonfire blazes under Samhain’s full moon. Drums beat, thudding wildly in her chest. Villagers dance around flames. Intoxicated. Free.

She prays she will be redeemed. For these are heathens. Cristiona is cut from finer cloth.

Then she sees him.

The bard.

Pale. Dark-haired. He always plays his lute with near-sinful finesse. And despite the demonic nature of his songs, he remains…angelic.

Her heart sinks. Nothing can come of her longing.

Then, he sees her. Beckons her over, mischief-eyed.

She smiles shyly back.

Perhaps she can be heathen for one night.

Chapter 5: early morning walks

Chapter Text

Morning light coats the land in amber-gold. Leaves crunch underfoot as Eddie and Chrissy stroll their favorite forest path.

“Try some.” Chrissy pushes her pumpkin-spice latte towards Eddie. “It’s so good.”

“I don’t see the appeal,” he grumbles. “I don’t even like lattes.”

“Please?”

“No.”

“Please?”

“No.”

Eddie.” She pouts prettily, those long lashes batting.

Eddie only has so much strength.

“Fine.” He sighs, taking the paper cup and sliding her bare fingers in his jacket pocket. “Just a sip.”

Chrissy watches as he slurps back a taste.

“Well?” She bounces on her heels.

Eddie frowns, dismayed. “It’s…fucking delicious.”

Chapter 6: late night talks

Notes:

two fics today to spice up your life

Chapter Text

Chrissy and Eddie are curled up on the couch in the dark. Watching the opening to It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown! while drinking Uncle Wayne’s home-famous mulled apple cider.

Chrissy rests her head on Eddie’s chest. “There’s no freaky parts, right?”

“Seriously?”

“I never watch Halloween movies. Too traumatizing.”

“This barely counts as a Halloween movie,” Eddie snorts. “It’s like Halloween for toddlers, so I think you’ll be okay.”

She nudges him. “You’ll hold me tight if it gets too scary?”

“I’ll hold you tight either way,” he says softly, pulling her closer.

“Promise?”

He kisses her forehead. “Promise.”

Chapter 7: moving day

Notes:

took a bit of inspo from this post

Chapter Text

Somehow, within the first ten minutes of Chrissy moving into Forest Hills trailer-park, Eddie Munson has taken it upon himself to be her tour guide, leading her around the premises, talking a mile-a-minute.

“This is the Watsons. Not the kindest folks but their pup’s the best.” Eddie crouches beside a three-legged, one-eyed Rottweiler sniffing a wilted sunflower. “Cute, huh?”

“Oh!” Chrissy gasps. “What happened?”

“Dunno, but her name’s Lucky. The paradox isn’t lost on me, but my theory is that she’s the park’s good luck charm.” He scratches Lucky’s chin, cooing, “Such a sweetie-pie.”

Just like you, Chrissy thinks absently.

Chapter 8: cursed

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Mortified, Chrissy waits in the bathroom at Nancy’s Halloween-party for a boy she’s had a maximum of three interactions with.

Being a girl is cursed.

There’s a light knock. “Uh-here you go.” A tampon slides underneath the door, which Chrissy quickly grabs. “Nancy was um-disturbed at first when she saw me hovering around, soliciting girls for menstrual products. Then she offered super or regular and I didn’t know which-“

“It’s fine!” Chrissy blurts, pink-skinned. “Thanks!”

“Lemme know if you need anything else. Ice-cream? Tylenol?”

Chrissy’s oddly touched. “You know, Eddie, for someone dressed like Satan, you’re a total angel.”

Notes:

it is so hard not to post this entire collection at once lol

thanks for your kudos/comments, you guys make me smile 💓💓💓

Chapter 9: coming home

Notes:

gonna be dropping these in batches because i have zero patience lol. hope you're enjoying my drabbles so far <3

Chapter Text

“Home, sweet home,” Eddie says from behind the wheel, the Welcome-To-Hawkins sign passing by. The landscape is frosted, trees orange-red and gold. Vividly contrasting the balmy California they left behind.

Chrissy’s gut tightens. “I’m scared.”

“We’ll get through it together.” Eddie reaches to take her hand, his fingers warm and guitar-calloused on hers. “Just one visit.”

“If Mother’s rude to you, I’m sorry.”

“It’s okay.” His thumb circles her knuckles. “I survived growing up here. Nothing she says could compare to that. Plus, my uncle will welcome us with open arms afterwards.”

Her heart warms from his soothing. “Thank god.”

Chapter 10: "is this seat taken?"

Chapter Text

“Is this seat taken?”

Chrissy glances up to find a werewolf staring down at her. “Oh! Uh…”

“It’s okay. I’ll stand.” The werewolf grips the bus pole tighter.

“No, I’m sorry. You just startled me for a second.” She scoots over. “You can sit.”

The werewolf sits. “Nice costume, Tinkerbell.”

She smooths her sparkling green dress. “Thanks. Sewed it myself.”

“Hey, same with my costume.”

“Really? So rare to meet a guy who sews!” She pauses. “Who are you?”

“Guess.”

“Take your paw off first.”

The werewolf slowly removes his paw. Reveals pale skin, ink, silver rings.

Chrissy gasps. “Eddie?”

Chapter 11: blizzard or heatwave

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

“A blizzard on Halloween.” Chrissy groans in frustration. “So much for that party.” There’s no way they’d be able to make it out of the house, let alone across town.

Chrissy glances to find Eddie furiously digging a tunnel out the door, metal pins falling off his head onto snow. “What are you doing?”

“I spent good money on this Hellraiser costume. No way I’m gonna let it go to waste.”

“So, you’re gonna dig all the way to Cherry Lane?”

“Yeah. Wanna come?”

Chrissy grabs a shovel. “I don’t know why I put up with you.”

“Love, I think?”

Notes:

some of these are quite silly tee hee

also, in case you need a visual.

Chapter 12: bookshop/library

Chapter Text

Chrissy’s tired of leaving the library empty-handed. She was hoping today would be different.

Unfortunately, Eddie Munson is here, lingering in the A-C section.

He notices her glaring. “Can I help you?

“You keep taking out my favorite book.” Her lips press.

Eddie flashes the deteriorating cover of Flowers in the Attic. “This book?”

“I’ve been trying to borrow it for months!”

He blinks. “You, Chrissy Cunningham, read incest-horror?”

“…yes?”

A pause.

“Here.” Eddie passes her the book, fingers brushing, sparking. “It’s my fifth read anyway.”

“You sure?” Her skin tingles.

A smoldering grin. “Anything to see you smile, Cunningham.”

Chapter 13: "is that my hoodie?"

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

“Is that my hoodie?”

Chrissy looks up, confused, to find Eddie Munson gawking at her.

“Uh…no?” She hugs herself nervously, thumb stroking the black cotton. “It’s Jason’s.”

Eddie rolls his eyes before reaching around her to tug the collar back.

“Hey!“

He yanks the tag in her face so she can see his sloppy handwriting. “See? Property of Satan.”

She stares, open-mouthed.

“It’s a joke, Chrissy. Satan doesn’t actually have a clothing-line.”

“Sorry!” She rushes to unzip. “Must have gotten it mixed-up at that party-“

“Keep it.”

She freezes. “Why?”

“You look a lot cuter in it than me.”

Notes:

Eddie's kink is giving Chrissy all his possessions <3

Chapter 14: "this looks like fun."

Chapter Text

“Looks like fun,” Eddie nods.

Chrissy grimaces at the Haunted Mansion attraction. “You have a strange idea of fun.”.

“Come on, it’s Halloween!”

“Fine.” Chrissy lets him lead her by the hand past the cob-webbed front door. “But if I get traumatized you owe me.”

“Owe you what?” Eddie asks suggestively. “Something pleasurable, I imagine?”

Chrissy sighs, beaming. “Let’s just get this over with.”

Eddie marches them showily past spooky ghosts, animatronic zombies and all sorts of Halloween-hellscapes.

“See? Nothing to be afrai-aaAAH!” Eddie jumps as a cackling skeleton bursts in his face.

Chrissy hugs him, laughing. “Having fun yet?”

Chapter 15: polar opposites

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

“So what music did you bring for our road trip?” Chrissy asks.

Eddie holds up three cassettes. “Culture Club, Madonna, and Duran Duran.”

Chrissy furrows her brows. “You actually picked those?”

“Yeah…and you?”

“Slayer and Metallica.”

They blink at each other.

Chrissy touches his arm. “Were you just trying to make me happy?”

“Caught me. Were you trying to make me happy too?”

“Yes.”

“Aw.”

“Wanna take turns? Let’s play Metallica first.”

“No, play Madonna first. “Like A Prayer” is a good album.”

“So is “Master of Puppets”.”

Eddie offers a wry grin. “Somehow I love you even more.”

Notes:

have your teeth rotted out of your skull yet?

Chapter 16: fake relationship

Notes:

(See the end of the chapter for notes.)

Chapter Text

Chrissy’s being followed.

She weaves through Hawkins Halloween Market, the night smelling of cinnamon, smoke and caramel. Crowds wander the autumn-eclectic booths, bustling.

Chrissy speed-walks. The stranger catches up. Lusty. Beady-eyed.

“Hey, babygirl,” he jeers.

“Not interested!” She walks faster.

The stranger lunges. She yelps.

Then there’s tall warmth beside her.

“Hey, honey,” a familiar voice rasps. “I lost you.”

Relieved, she clutches that leather-clad arm. The stranger disappears into the crowd, grumbling.

“Thanks.” She faces her rescuer, seeing him in a new light. “Eddie, right?”

“Yeah.” His face is sweet, concerned. “You okay?”

“I am now that you’re here.”

Notes:

we do the best we can with 100 words lol

Chapter 17: pillows, plushies, piles of blankets

Chapter Text

“I don’t understand how this is supposed to work,” Eddie mumbles around a thermometer wedged in his mouth, lying in bed, suffocating in blankets. “Is this some kinda ritual?”

Chrissy is currently surrounding him with her plushie collection. An assortment of dolls, teddy bears, and various Disney characters.

“I believe these have healing properties.” She plants a Minnie Mouse plushie next to his head.

He glances towards Minnie, smiling. “She looks just like you.”

Chrissy smiles back, tucking him in, stroking his damp-hot forehead. “How do you feel?”

“Uh…” The thermometer clicks between his teeth. “If you’re happy, I’m happy.”
