Work Text:

The class was having lunch when the Akuma showed up.

“I am Imaginator! I can create anything I can imagine!”

“Isn’t that the Goat Miraculous’s power?” Nathaniel asked.

“Yes, Monarch has given me that power, but unlike others, I don’t need the paintbrush. I can make things just by thinking about them.”

“Can I have a sandwich?” Kim asked, “I left my mine at home.”

“No! I won’t–”

Pop!

A sandwich appeared in midair and landed on Imaginator’s head.

“Why did you waste your power on a sandwich?” Monarch shouted in his head.

“I didn’t mean to. It just popped in my head.”

The class exchanged looks, “Is that so?” Alya asked.

“Uh oh.”

“Create a laptop!” Alya said.

Pop!

A laptop appeared and hit him on the head.

“Ow!”

“Create one of those giant speakers!” Nino said.

Pop!

Imaginator dodged to the left to avoid being crushed.

“Create glitter!” Rose cheered.

Pop!

A cloud of glitter made the Akuma hack and cough.

“Create a crocodile,” Juleka murmured, inspired by her father.

Pop!

An inflatable crocodile bounced off the Akuma’s head.

“I don’t think he can create living things, Jules,” Rose said.

“Aww,” Juleka hung her head as Rose patted her shoulder.

“Control your mind, or I’ll make mincemeat of you!” Monarch told him.

Pop! Splat!

Imaginator was now covered in mincemeat.

“...I’m going to keep quiet.”

“Create paint!” Nathaniel

Pop! Splat!

“Oh, c’mon!” The paint-covered Akuma complained.

“Create a set of weights!” A muffled voice called out.

Pop! Crash!

“Aahhhh!”

Everyone looked at each other in confusion.

“Who said that? Alya asked.

In the Burrow, Bunnyx cackled, “No way was I going to miss out on this.”

The teenagers shrugged and got back to business.

“Create a drumset!” Ivan said.

“Gardening tools!” Mylène joined in.

“A game console!” Max added.

Pop!

Pop!

Pop!

“Children, please!” Imaginator said from under the pile of random objects.

“A bunch of books!” Marc said.

“Bottles of hair dye!” Zoé shouted.

“Glasses cleaner!” Sabrina yelled.

Pop!

Pop!

Pop!

“HELP!” The Akuma cried.

On the roof, Ladybug and Chat Noir watched in amusement.

“I guess the Resistance has this one handled, m’lady.”

“Yeah, but we should still step in… eventually.”
