hi everyone! if you're reading this, wow. thank you. this is the first time i've written for Spider-Man and i'm nervous. as the tags mentioned, i really did pick-and-choose canon. if you're expecting a very accurate depiction of events, you'll be heavily disappointed. this was loosely inspired by Humans of New York and this one tumblr post i saw years ago. what if Spider-Man's identity was Peter's worst but New York's best kept secret? well, this is a story that answers that. on with the story!

more spidey interactions with regular new yorkers! he's a bit silly and childish but he IS fifteen, so what can we expect? there's something very sweet about a young peter just...helping around, being that friendly neighbourhood spider-man. i love him so much. thank you so much for reading!

hi hi! another short chapter today! promise they get longer soon. i should probably admit...i'm not from New York. Not even American, lol. If I get streets or stuff wrong, have mercy on me. what to do we think so far? the story really starts to build in the next chapter, i'm excited :)

ahhh! we've reached the accords and spidey met the devil....how interesting. i know in my heart that if peter knew what the accords were truly about he'd hate them and be team captain america, but that's just me. anyways, i love matt.

The reader disagrees as the reader knows that in the comics Spidey switched sides only after it became clear that the legislation wasn't able to be salvaged from parties who wanted to exploit enhanced people, and the situation never actually reached that point in the MCU.

homecoming....wow. such an underrated movie. no one talks about peter being stuck under the rumble enough. he was just a kid! a baby, really. thank god for matt, huh?

and here we have post-endgame! i love exploring peter's guilt and ptsd and his complex feelings about tony. it's all so interesting. and! peter finally met the defenders and frank! how exciting. hope i did them justice. just 2 more chapters left!

and here it is! the last chapter! what do we think? far from home was so insane and it's too underrated. i do think that peter's feelings on tony are so complicated and intricate and i hope i managed to convey that even a little.

we still have an epilogue left but i can't believe it's over. stay tuned, though! this doesn't have to be the end. not if you don't want it to be :)

ahh! and here's the last part! if you've read so far, thank you. i've had this idea for so long and it means so much to me. i was going to continue on into no way home and turn up the angst but as i wrote, chapter 6 ended so right that i didn't wanna mess with it. however, if you guys would like to see the story continued, i might make this a series!
