Nathalie walked into the lair.
“Sir, you have been in here since yesterday. What are you doing?”
Hawk Moth yawned, “I have been watching over my newest Akuma, Vanisher.”
“What does she do?”
“She’s invisible.”
“…and?”
“Well, that’s it really.”
“Hold on, you sent out an invisible Akuma all day?”
“Yes.”
“The whole time?”
“Yes.”
“Doing nothing else?”
“Of course not! I take breaks for eating, sleeping and using the toilet.”
“What has she been doing all this time?”
“She’s been haunting Chloé.”
“Chloé? Oh, it’s Sabrina, isn’t it?”
Hawk Moth nodded.
“For what purpose?”
“I just said–”
“No, I mean, what purpose does this serve us? The whole point of creating Akumas is to get Ladybug and Chat Noir to notice so they can steal their Miraculous. An Akuma they don’t know about seems counterproductive.”
“Um…”
“And you could have used your contacts to create a non-akuma situation to lure them out and have Vanisher follow them home or something.”
Hawk Moth was silent.
“We could still try something like that,” Nathalie said.
Hawk Moth stood straight, “No, they’ve shown up, they must have finally figured out there’s an Akuma… somehow.”
Nathalie sighed, “Never mind then.”
“It’s fine, I’m sure Vanisher will be worth the time and investment.”
Minutes later…
“Wow, that was one of our quickest Akuma fights yet,” Ladybug said.
“Must be a record,” Chat quipped.
Hawk Moth screamed in rage.
