Chapter Text
SURVIVOR
"The greatest social experiment on television where twenty people are stranded on a deserted island, where they have to battles in challenges, each other, and even the harsh conditions around them. But most of all, they must be able outwit, outplay, and outlast the other nineteen competitors in order to last all thirty-nine days. Whoever wins will have the title of 'Sole Survivor', as well as a million dollar check that goes along with it."
And with that, Master Hand was officially back. It was time to prepare for season four.
"Welcome back for another season of Survivor!" He welcomed the viewers from home proudly. "We are in the Dominican Republic, one of the seven hundred islands of one of the most beautiful regions in the world, the Caribbean. We have twenty new faces that are going to be introduced as they all prepare for what's to come. They are to all battle it out until only one remains to represent the title of Sole Survivor. Welcome to Survivor - Caribbean!"
Yoshi
"Yoshi! Yoshi!" A green dinosaur jumped up and down in front of the camera on the island, shouting his own name in the process.
But then it cut to his own interview where he was more excited than ever.
"Ooh, I'm on Survivor! I can't believe it!"
"You seem to be pretty pumped for it." commented the interviewer, who just so happened to be none other than R.O.B. the robot. "I'd assume that you've been waiting for this for a bit."
"Ever since I watched the first season, I just had to apply for it. But, you know. Like everybody else, I had to wait. That was the hard part..." He sighed, remembering that he had to wait three more seasons to get his first opportunity. "But look, now I'm here! Sitting right here talking to you in the Caribbean!"
He took a glance at his surroundings.
"You think this place is pretty fun for you?"
"More than that! It's the best!"
"Okay, cool. So maybe in a weird way, the wait was worth it."
"Yeah, you're probably right." Yoshi nodded in agreement. "Mexico would have been nice, too, but I think this is the best location they ever did so far!"
It was a rare sight, but back on the island, the Mario character decided that he wanted to show off as he was seen chasing his tail around.
K. "Krembling" Rool
"I mean, wow. Just look at this!"
K. Rool was completely amazed at his surroundings as it was his own turn to be introduced to the viewers.
"It's just fantastic!"
"Well, it definitely seems that the master has made the right choice just for you." ROB commented, definitely smirking if he could have. But, no. He was nothing but a robot with no legs.
"This gives me a whole advantage before I even started here!" Krembling went on. "I mean, this is basically just like home. I can even survive out here all by myself. All I need to do is to figure out my way around the camp and this place is mine."
"Haha, if you say so!" He replied as there was a camera view of an intimidating, nearly six foot tall anthropomorphic crocodile was seen from his legs up to his face on the island, before it cut right back to the interview.
"So, what is your occupation?" ROB questioned.
"Well, I'm a treasure hunter and a company chairman. I tell people what to do and hunt for stuff. You don't think all that gives me an advantage to take control of the game and hunt for idols?"
"I mean, it definitely could..."
"It could and it probably will." He appeared to be highly confident in himself. "And now this to top it all off? I mean, if I don't make it to the merge at least, I... Oh, who am I kidding. I'm gonna win this!"
"...And if you don't?" It was up to the viewer of whether or not ROB was trying to push his buttons.
He sighed heavily in reaction, even taking the time to think it over. "Well,... I don't even know how I'm gonna react to that. But that only gives more of a reason to play as best I can. I'm doing this!"
Meta Knight
"Greetings, ROB."
"Hello there, Meta Knight." The robot greeted back. "You ready to play this?"
In spite of his size, Meta Knight appeared to be quite fine carrying a large box around, as he was seen doing his part to contribute to the whatever camp he was on.
"I have been patiently waiting. But I did get that phone call, and now, here I am." He explained. "All I could do now is hope for the best. I do not know what my competition might be. But at the end of the day, I am ready for a challenge as always."
"Hmm. Sounds like you already have your head in the game and the season hasn't officially started, yet."
"Early bird gets the worm, as the old saying goes." Meta Knight felt that it was best to always prepare him for what was to come for most situations. "There is something that is on my mind, however..."
"Spill."
"...Why are we not in teams, yet?" It was something he was rather curious about for a while. "Are they going to be announced at our marooning? I know this is not going to be the same island we are going to be competing on..."
"Honestly, I don't even know myself." Darn. Now Master Hand was shutting out members of his own production crew. Or perhaps just ROB. Who knew what his plans were? "I believe that is all I can tell you."
"Do not sweat it. It is not your fault." The knight told him not to worry. "Perhaps he is planning a surprise on us..."
Although his face was not shown (due to his back being turned towards the camera), Meta Knight was now glancing at the front of his mask, right before it cut to character number four.
Kawasaki
"Alright, so what do you think you can bring to the table for your tribe?" ROB was now speaking with the other Kirby character of the season, 'Chef Kawasaki'. "...Even though the tribes are not confirmed as of now..."
"Well, I did bring this along for a reason!" He picked up his chef's hat and placed it on his head. "They can call me 'Chef Kawasaki'! I don't know if there were any chefs on Survivor before, but here I am!"
"I guess if you are the first one, you're making history already." ROB chuckled in reply. "I'd take it that the tribe might actually like you. You know there is not going to be much of a variety when it comes to food at the camp, unless your team wins rewards."
On the beach, Kawasaki was seen rubbing two sticks together in an attempt to make fire the old-fashioned way, but so far, he was unsuccessful. It made him frustrated quite a bit, even going as far as slamming one of the sticks right down in the sand. "Gosh, darn it... Ugh!"
"I generally like to cook. Not only because it's my natural talent, but it makes people happy! And I think if I can make my tribe happy with the food, maybe they'll keep me around for a while!"
"Interesting strategy, since you're basically doing your part to contribute to the camp." ROB figured. "If I was a contestant, contributing something would be one of the first things I would do, especially during the first few days."
"But I guess since there is not gonna be anything more than rice and coconut, that is the one thing I'm afraid about. Maybe I should hope that my team ends up winning a lot. The more we win, the more immunities and rewards we're gonna get, so I'd get my chance to shine!"
"So, let me get this straight... Worst case scenario for you, is that your team ends up on a losing streak..."
That was when Kawasaki placed his hands on his head in fear. "Oh, no... Just thinking about it alone makes me nervous..."
Charizard
The only Pokemon character of season four was seeing using both of his arms to carry multiple bamboo sticks with another castaway. It was appearing to be that his group was busy shelter building.
"Welcome to Survivor - Caribbean, Charizard!"
"Thank you!" He smiled out of excitement at the interviewer. "Glad to be here."
"So, I looked at your audition tape... I assume Red is your trainer?"
"Yeah, he is." He confirmed with a nod. "He knows Mewtwo from Kodai Island, too. Squirtle and Ivysaur are unable to compete due to reasons, so that leaves me. Now I gotta make my trainer proud."
"That seems to be the case for all the Pokemon that have competed before." ROB noticed. "But I guess in a way, you're representing Mewtwo as well?"
"To be honest, the two of us don't really have too many chances to talk that much." The dragon-like creature spoke with honesty. "However, I can say that I'm still representing him, solely that the two of us knew each other before this series even started.
And in order to avoid any confusion, one never had to worry about water risking poor Charizard's life as he was seen with his head coming out of the water and he appeared to be perfectly fine, including his tail. Under normal circumstances though, due to his tail always being lit, the moment when his tail is doused, it would have been big time trouble for the Pokemon. Thus, he was lucky.
"Could you tell me what type of game would you be playing? Or you haven't really made up your mind yet?"
"Well, I guess with whatever tribe I'm on, maybe I could do my part in helping my team stick together. And if I end up being in a big alliance, maybe we could all be protecting each other from being voted off. It is well known that you can't play this game by yourself. The more numbers, the better. And if I have their back, I know they will have mine. I'll trust them."
It was starting to sound as if Charizard was trying to tell ROB that being loyal might play a part in his game.
Ridley
"You ready for this, Ridley?"
One of, if not, the absolute tallest contestant in Survivor history turned out to be another large dragon like Charizard. Only this time, he was purple, one of the tribe colors. Was he in fact set to be on the purple tribe, though? Time was definitely going to tell for sure.
"It's Survivor." He answered ROB. "You have to be ready for anything. This is gonna happen every second of the thirty-nine days we're gonna be out here."
"Only three people get to survive all thirty-nine days, though."
"Well, then I'll do everything I can to make sure I'm one of 'em, let alone win the whole thing."
"Oh, you're definitely ready to play, then." ROB could tell just by the way the second Metroid character of the show was answering his questions, him being seen simply taking the time standing up tall on the island, as if he was performing his most well-known taunts in Super Smash Bros.
"I mean, I'm strategic, I'm physical, I can contribute to the camp." He thought that he might as well bring up all of his Survivor character traits right out of the gate. "What else is there to know?"
"Um... having a social game?"
"..." That actually make Ridley rather quiet for a couple moments. "Well, I am aware of that. However, it is just not really a priority for me. What is though, is just that I need to play this game the best way I know how. That will hopefully result in me winning this competition."
The final view of him was him simply sitting down on the bed of the shelter, or rather, just a bunch of long bamboo sticks with a fist beneath his chin.
Robin
"So yeah, I think I can strategically maneuver myself through here." The first of the Fire Emblem trio of the season predicted. "However, I am not one of those players that completely ignores the social aspect. If you plan on playing a big game out here, you can't really play by yourself."
"A statement I've heard before." ROB replied nodding his head.
"Therefore, I believe that bonding with others at least somewhat, is rather crucial. The tighter the relationship is, the more likely they are to trust you."
"Well, I do think it is better to work with someone you know, then someone you don't."
"Especially if you are going to be competing against another tribe..." Speaking of which, Robin decided to briefly change the subject for a moment. "And while I'm at it,... how come we're not being divided into tribes yet? Figured we would have known where we are going by now..."
"I don't really have an answer for that." ROB admitted. "The master has not said anything to me about it."
On the island itself, Robin seemed to be in the middle of a rather humorous conversation with another tribe member.
"Well,..." He thought to himself for a bit. "I can not even say if it will either positively or negatively affect my game..."
"You're afraid of the unknown."
"I'll admit it..." He was not afraid to nod. "It quite scares me. This game is already rather unpredictable. Not knowing who I am going to be playing with just only makes things worse."
Chrom
The next Fire Emblem character with blue hair was shown to be suggesting ideas to others around him of ways to build the shelter.
"You think you have a shot at winning this?" ROB the robot asked him in his pre-season interview.
"I think that I am cut out for this." He slowly bobbed his head up and down. "This competition takes skill. Since I will be on a team for the first half of the game, I have to do my part in keeping the tribe strong. And I believe that if we are strongest together, we would all make it out just fine."
"You think they might need you?"
"We will all need each other." Chrom answered. "That's the whole purpose of tribe unity. Believe me. I've had previous experience before. And with that experience, I' say that gives me an advantage."
"What exactly do you mean when you say that you have 'previous experience'?" Curious ROB just wanted to learn more.
"I've been in a position where I had to be the leader just for the sake of all of my allies staying on their toes. Yet in order for all of us to make it, someone must show strength, even in the darkest of times. Just like out here. I have to be able to keep a level head."
"Hmm..." ROB was really starting to learn about this guy now. "You know, I really do think you can handle yourself pretty well out there. I'm glad you signed up for this."
"You think so?" He grinned. "Appreciate it. That just gives more courage that I have what it takes. There is no going back now."
Exhausted from working so much on the shelter, Chrom was seen wiping sweat from his head. "Where's my canteen...?"
Corrin
At camp, Corrin was shown to be already having a good time with some of her tribe members.
"So I'm gonna start with a simple question." ROB decided to come at her with a straightforward approach. "Why are you here?"
"Well, long story short, where I was raised at, I never really explored as much as I would have liked growing up. So when I finally had the opportunity, I have heard of this competition. So while I am away from home, I might as well compete out here for thirty-nine days."
"That's a pretty interesting reason to come out here." The non-Survivor contestant found that to be rather interesting. "Think you can handle it."
"I know I can." She seemed determined. "I have already seen all three seasons so far. And I've realized that you really needs to make friends out here to increase your chances of staying."
"Hmm. That sounds rather similar to what one of your other competitors have stated." Of course ROB was not going to be a fool and expose Robin. That being said, he kept his name to himself.
"Well, making bonds are everything. Sure, you have to have strategy out here... Maybe I will some sort of... 'free agent' out here when this all starts and see who I can connect with." She figured. "From there, I can develop my strategy as I go. For right now, making friendships is going to be the main priority for me."
Back on the beach, Corrin was still seen interacting with her fellow castaways.
"You really seem to be well aware of the game socially." ROB noted. "If I was watching compete on the show on television, it'd be rather interesting to look at."
"Well, the tighter the friendship is, the more likely two or more people would be able to work together. Therefore, I hope I have enough time to learn about each and every individual in my tribe."
Vector
"Man... Master Hand has outdone himself..."
ROB was already laughing as Vector glanced at his surroundings.
"I'm serious." He was not joking staring wide-eyed at everything, but he ended up forming a big smile. "I didn't know we were going here. It's vacation time, now! Maybe after I get back home I'm gonna put some vacation time in and visit here again with Team Chaotix. Poor Espio is missing out."
"Oh yeah, that's right." ROB just remembered. "Espio competed last season in Mexico. So I guess you're next."
"Yup!" He nodded rapidly. "Charmy is far too young to compete out here. So if I win this, it's not gonna just be for me and Espio. It's gonna for all three of us!"
On the water, the camera focused on Vector from above, as his eyes were close as he floated with his hands behind his head. He was certainly loving the location Master Hand chose for the season.
"But, you know," ROB figured that it was time to warn him for his own good. "sure, this might be the best location for the series so far, but don't take the word 'vacation' too literally."
"Oh, I ain't stupid. I know what's up." He did not want him to get the wrong idea. "I mean, what'd you think I signed up for? But with all this, maybe that will make things slightly better for me. Maybe I would get to relax my mind a little whenever I need to figure out what to do."
"I think I got it." ROB nodded. "I will be hearing from my fellow production members of what you all are doing out there."
"Oh, yeah. I'm definitely gonna play this, and I will definitely have fun doing so. It's gonna be a blast!"
Doc Louis
Like Chrom, Doc Louis was also seen suggesting to others of how to make the shelter.
"Let me guess. Was it Little Mac's idea for you to come out here?" ROB had a feeling he already knew why Little Mac's coach came out to the show.
"You guessed correctly." He confirmed. "Little Mac came home talking about his experience in Kodai Island, and it took a lot of begging and pleading, but eventually I gave in. I'm gonna do this."
"And what was the convincing argument for you?"
"Well, he told me that I was always helping him out when it came to the boxing tournaments and that it was my turn to do something for myself for once." He recalled. "He's friends with Incineroar from last season now, and he told me the same thing. So I just decided, 'why not?'"
"This is a fun game." ROB just wanted to let Doc know that he made the right choice. "I promise you that you will not regret it."
"I don't think I will. Just don't what to expect."
"As all survivors say." He defended giggling. "Maybe it's one of the most exciting things about this show. No matter what season you're on, you never really know what to expect when it comes to the game."
"I mean, you got idols, advantages, immunities, everything. Kind of a 'choose your adventure' type of thing, except that your path is already chosen for you I suppose."
"Whew..." He was on the beach scratching and shaking his head, wondering what to do next.
"You nervous?" ROB wondered.
"On a scale of one to ten, I'm at a four, but it'll be alright..."
Ken
"Bring it on..." Ken Masters taunted the camera, nearly hitting it directly right before the scene switched to his pre-season interview.
"So, you're Ken." ROB pointed out. "Ryu has told us a lot about you."
"Think of the Mario Brothers except that we're not related by blood." Ken visualized. "Both of us got the call to compete and they just chose Ryu first. I ain't mad, though. I think both of us fit our respective seasons perfectly."
"Hmm... How so?" ROB titled his head to the side out of curiosity.
"Well, Ryu has a more competitive nature, one of the traits his Brawn tribe had back in Survivor - Mexico. He takes himself extremely seriously, too. I on the other hand... let's just say I'm one of those people that likes to have fun while I work, haha."
"Okay, so you're basically more laid back." ROB knew where he was going. "Now that I'm think of it, I guess I see you two more like I see Donkey Kong and Funky Kong, rather than the Mario Bros."
Masters widened his eyes realizing he had a point. "Oh, shoot. You're right. I suppose that makes more sense..."
"So anyway, are you ready for this?"
"More than ever." He grinned. "I may not look like it, but I think I'd be a pretty decent player if I do say so myself... I got one question, though..."
"Ask away."
"...Why aren't we in tribes yet?"
"Ugh..." ROB groaned closing his eyes as he lowered his head. He knew that this was the third or fourth time a castaway has brought that up.
Rodin
"Hmm... This place is rather... interesting..."
Bayonetta was finally getting another representative as Rodin was now sitting directly across from his interviewer.
"What exactly do you mean by that?" ROB questioned. "Didn't expect the Caribbean all places?"
"Well, last season was in Mexico. I was actually expecting somewhere even more brutal like Kenya or Kaoh Rong. But I guess the master is going to a far more tropical location this time."
ROB never knew if he was either happy or sad about that. "Is that a good thing?"
"Not saying it's a bad thing, just something that I didn't expect. But I suppose no matter the location, my plan hasn't changed. I'll still do everything within my power to win this."
The demon weapons dealer was seen tossing a couple palm fronds onto the shelter.
"So, let's start with something simple." ROB decided. "What makes you think you have what it takes to win this game?"
"Well, I am physically cable, I believe I have the right mindset for it, and I even know how to socially handle myself in order to gain potential allies. Whatever I have to do to get to the end and win, I will do it."
ROB focused more on the 'social' part of Rodin's answer, before thinking of the type of person he was based off first impressions alone. "You think you can socially adapt pretty well?"
"I'll just say this: I'm a bartender." He responded. "I'll leave you to predict from there."
Believe it or not, Rodin of all people was actually striking up a conversation with a fellow member of his tribe, him comfortably relaxing on the bamboo on his side.
Shield Knight
"Nice place we got here."
Shovel Knight's partner, Shield Knight, was officially confirmed to be a Survivor contestant.
"Glad you can make it, Shield!" ROB greeted her. "And yes, nice location indeed. I hope you're ready to play."
"It is my turn to show what I am made of out here. After Shovel came back from Emperors vs Knights, by the time I got the call, I just could not have said 'no'. This is really going to be the adventure of a lifetime."
"I could have not said it better for you. Survivor really is an adventure of a lifetime." But then ROB decided to change the topic of discussion. "...You know, I do see the difference between you and Shovel Knight."
"And what is that?"
"Well, I can actually see most of your face."
She laughed out loud at that. "That is what a lot of my folks from home have said. I'd take it as a compliment."
"...Do you think Shovel is... worried about you?" He then asked out of concern. "You are literally in an entire different world just to do this..."
"Believe me. He is probably loosing sleep over it." She figured. "I don't have a problem with that, though. I lost sleep over him when he competed. However, I will do my best to make it far as possible. Hopefully me and my tribemates can get along well."
As far as the face comments went, Shield Knight was even spotted removing her entire helmet to show off her full head.
Simon
Simon Belmont was hammering away before it cut to his interview with ROB.
"So, I guess this is it..."
"Welcome to Survivor, Simon." ROB introduced himself. "I am the Robotic Operating Buddy, but please just call me ROB for short."
"..." Simon never knew exactly what to make of it, but he listened to his recommendation. "Alright then, ROB..."
"So, tell me. Why are you out here?"
"For a simple reason. Just to prove myself."
"You think you'll do alright out there? Never really know what your competition is gonna be."
"Guess I should always expect the unexpected, then." That just gave Belmont one more reason to prepare. "Nonetheless, that could still be a problem. I've seen the three season, though. There are all types of people I might be dealing with. It's just a matter of how much I can... tolerate them..."
"Okay, so you're saying that you might struggle socially..."
"It could be a flaw that I would have to take care of when I hit the beach." He realized that there were issues within himself that he felt needed to be worked on. "...I know what I can do, though. Maybe I can contribute to building the shelter, and I hope to reliable in the challenges."
"You do seem like a physical guy..."
"Oh, I can do puzzles as well."
ROB would have widened his eyes if he was at least like Mega Man from season two (half human, half robot). "Oh, really?"
He smirked in reaction. "Maybe not perfect, but I am definitely not afraid to challenge myself."
The member of the Belmont family was seen running his fingers through the back of his head, with a saw in his other hand.
Joker
The youngest member of the Survivor castaway was caught adjusting his black and white eye mask, even going as far as winking to the camera holding a piece sign.
In the interview, he was grinning proudly. "'Sup?"
"Hello, Joker. You are now officially part of our Survivor family, now."
"Sounds wonderful." He responded with hands out. "I've prepared myself for this. I just need to figure out who I'll be playing with, given that we are apparently not divided into teams, yet."
ROB could have sworn on himself. If he was to hear one more comment about the fact that the teams were still not determined at the time...
"But as soon as I figure that out, that's when I'll start playing."
"Any part of your strategy that you might wanna tell me to get me all excited and everything?" The robot chuckled, only making the first ever Persona character chuckle back in response.
"Well, can't really say much right now." He shook his head. "What I can say though is that you need to have some type of long-term goal out here. That's something that I thought of. You gotta prepare yourself if you do end up being in a bad situation. You can't just think of for example, the next Tribal Council. That is when you might be in trouble."
"So in other words, it is better to prevent, rather than to react."
"As a long story short, yep. That's gonna be part of my initial strategy. And I think having a long-term plan is all part of having the right mindset for the game." He explained further. "'Cause some of these players, uh... I mean, no offense or anything, but..."
They both ended up laughing together.
"Don't worry. I understand." ROB replied, the video sharing a quick moment of Joker interacting with another survivor.
"All I gotta say is that you just gotta control yourself and keep your head in the game. That's all I'm gonna say." He concluded to the production member.
Valery "Val" Ramos
"So Val, I'm assuming your friend Foxy from season two is not gonna miss a single episode this season."
A white, anthropomorphic fox was now the center of attention. "He's probably gonna be watching my Ponderosa video on SmashTube a million times... Well, if I get eliminated in the jury phase..."
ROB 'frowned', not liking the sound of that. "I hope you're not just saying that you hope that you only make it to the jury..."
"Oh, not at all." She shook her head rapidly. "I came out here to win. That's my number one goal out here."
"I really do think I'm actually making Foxy jealous, though."
"Oh?"
"Well, he is a 'pirate' when it comes to the kids. And we are in the Caribbean, so..."
"Oh, now I get it." He giggled. "Yeah, he's probably jealous. But hey, he shouldn't feel too bad. Ryu ended up competing in Mexico instead of Japan."
"True, maybe he'll see it that way." Valery Ramos hoped. "But hey, I'm here and he does describe me as his first mate."
"You think in a way it gives you more motivation to do well out here?"
"Of course." She answered. However in her eyes, she also saw a downside to it. "Although, it does mean more pressure in terms of 'representation'. I really gotta be careful out here... Foxy already gave me multiple lectures of how I should act coming out here..."
It sounded like he simply wanted the best for her, as she was seen pouring water into her canteen.
Kevin "Springtrap" Davis
"Alright, Davis. Don't take this the wrong name, but... any particular reason to why you are called... 'Springtrap'?"
"Haha, the question has come up already." A darkish green rabbit figured that it was going to pop rather later, at least while he was with his fellow Survivor players. "So after I received the call to compete on the show, my friend from grade school asked me if I'd rather be called by a nickname out there just for fun."
"And?"
"And I thought that it actually wasn't a bad idea." He ended up going with it. "So long story short, I got up from a rapper."
"Interesting..." ROB commented. "I suppose 'Springtrap' actually sounds pretty cool..."
"Thanks... I'd rather not be called that in real life, though." Apparently the whole 'Springtrap' thing was only going to be exclusive to Survivor and nowhere else. "I ain't tryin' to look stupid..."
After working on the shelter for a bit, he was seen wiping drinking from his canteen taking a break for a couple minutes.
"But you know, maybe it could be a good thing out here. I don't exactly know if I'm gonna be the most 'charming' guy out there. Though with a nickname like 'Springtrap', maybe that would make me more approachable to others."
"Well, I guess if you think that is something to help your social game, then go for it."
Banjo
"So Banjo, how does it feel to be a 'last minute addition' to the season?"
Another anthropomorphic character was now on screen. This time, however, it was a bear. And unlike Springtrap and Val, he came from a completely different series. On the tribe, he was seen relaxing simply sitting down in the shelter looking around.
"Whew..." He sighed and shook his head, giving a sign that it was not exactly easy. "Well, I remember them telling me I was either going to compete either now or later. But when it was starting to get too close to the date where they were going to start filming, I figure that I was not going to compete in this season..."
"And then it turned out to be the opposite of what you thought." ROB finished for him.
"Yep. I had to hurry. I had to quickly gather all my things, say goodbye to Tooty and Kazooie, and catch my flight here. Then I had to take all those pictures, and that was when I was called to sit here to talk with you."
"Sounds like it has been rather rough..."
"Exhausting..." He facepalmed. "I barely had the chance to breathe... But on the bright side, I think that after a while, maybe I can get the chance to relax at the camp! This place is great!"
He was seen getting out of the water at the camp. Perhaps with him being a bear, he was possibly a good swimmer.
"It is, indeed." ROB nodded. "Everyone's pleased at this location... How would you do around the others, though?"
"Well,... I guess I'll just think of it as meeting new people, which I am. It would be great making friends with them and see what they're like. And if I find out if they're on my team, if they need my help with something, I wouldn't mind coming to assist them."
ROB was really starting to get rather annoyed at the whole 'team' thing at this point, even though he knew that Banjo never meant any harm.
Sans
Just one more character to go, and he represented as the latest franchise addition to the Survivor series. Introducing, Sans from indie-cult classic, Undertale.
And for a starter scene, he was lying back in the shelter with his eyes closed.
"...Am I about to go on a vacation with nineteen strangers that I don't even know?" He asked ROB. "Is this really Survivor, or am I on the wrong show?"
"I am one thousand percent sure this is Survivor, Sans." ROB made sure that he wanted Sans to know that he was not on the wrong show by mistake.
"Oh..." That was when he beamed. "Alrighty, then! That means that if I'm gonna do this, it has to be a place that I can really enjoy. This could be a fun, relaxing place to catch up on sleep."
"Except that you never really signed up for that."
"Oh yeah, I know. I'm not stupid." He held a hand out in self-defense. "I signed up for this for a reason. At least I'm not lazy enough to think about what the heck am I gonna do to strategize my way to the end? I gotta get there some way."
"You have a game plan?"
"I'll make one as soon as I find out who I'm gonna be playing with. I just don't know who I will be with, yet."
"..." ROB decide to completely disregard Sans basically referring to something the poor robot has already heard about countless times. "Okay, then. So when you do make one, do you think you can handle it?"
"Oh, I'll definitely handle it. I may not know what the others are like yet, but no matter who I'm with, I'll just pretend to be a fly on the wall and observe. They may not know it, but every chance I could, I'm gonna be thinking about what to do to make it through the next month. Maybe that will help me go a long way."
