Summary
Originally, Tommy had thought it would be fine. It was supposed to be fine, it was all supposed to be fine.
He didn't expect to find out the person he thought he could always trust turned out to be the very thing he was supposed to be eradicating from the world.
A supernatural, tearing out someone's insides and not looking the slightest bit guilty about it. In fact, they would stare at Tommy with a bright grin and blood dripping from his teeth.
"Hi, darling," Wilbur cooed at him softly. "You weren't supposed to see this."

Wilbur laughed darkly before his grip of Tommy’s chin tightened making the boy wince. “Well in about five minutes it’s about to be real sweetheart. You’re about to be a Soot.”
Tommy flinched and shot him a startled look as his eyes went wide. “But I thought-,”
“That it was a publicity stunt to appease the capital? Darling I’m an honorary member of the capital at this point,” Wilbur practically purred. “I’ve won the games ten times over and they adore me. And once they see you they’ll love you even more.”

Tommy hadn’t been meaning to ignore Wilbur, really, he had just been really busy.
So busy in fact, that for the past two weeks Tommy had just barely been able to chat to Wilbur for mostly five minutes.
His schedule was just so packed with vlogs, editing, streaming, traveling and people visiting Britain, that he just didn’t have time to think about anything else!
OR: Tommy gets busy and accidently distances from Wilbur for two weeks and the man doesn't like that.

Summary
Eons ago, the Blood God and Death found their two missing pieces, and the quartet was made whole. Meant to last an eternity, it was abruptly shattered when the youngest member was brutally murdered before he had a chance to rise as a higher being.
Tommy just wants to finish highschool, move out of his shitty foster parents house, and get a lot of women. All of the women. His plans are suddenly placed on an abrupt hold when he’s kidnapped and taken to a dark organization called the Syndicate - and suddenly things are falling apart faster than he thought they possibly could as the three leaders of the Syndicate place him under their loving protection, one of his best friends is revealed to be working for potential terrorists, his religious beliefs are horribly shaken, and everyone seems to be convinced that he’s the reincarnation of some ancient martyr. The final piece of some holy quartet Wilbur cheerfully calls ‘Sleepy Bois Incorporated.’
Philza laughs at the name. Technoblade rolls his eyes.
Tommy is just trying to grit his teeth and survive this entire ordeal.

Tommy gets kidnapped by Phil. there's a few things he probably could have done to avoid this, starting with not drinking the weird spidery tea. But Tommy doesn't suspect anything, because nothing bad ever happens on the Dream SMP. Never. Definitely.
