It's a must read. I'm in love with the writer for writing this beautiful fic. The end letter, the words are so precise but at the same time overflowing with emotions, it gets overwhelming. And being someone who's related to army and having seen shit from quite close, I could actually see that happening and it leaves an unsettling feeling in your gut. A normal and genuine impact of how the reality works.
Very well written and thanks for introducing me to such a lovely poem. I can see why you're into war poems
