Summary
Wei Wuxian makes a mistake when drawing an array supposed to send his husband, Lan Wangji, and him back into the past. That mistake leads Wei Wuxian to be born long before Lan Wangji, and makes him immortal. When the now-immortal Wei Wuxian hears of Lan Wangji he immediately sends a letter asking for a betrothal without taking the time to note that Lan Wangji is still twelve.
