Summary
There is so much red, it pools out thick like a tub of paint. All Shouta can see is red and muted green like some type of twisted rendition of holiday colors. In the middle of- too much blood, so much blood, you can't live with this much blood outside you can you? a puddle of blood, lays his problem child. He is sprawled out across the ground. His breaths are shallow and laced with the smallest of whimpers. Tears stream down the boy's face. The only movement is Midoriyas hand which he raises with great effort before letting it swing back down to the ground. This time it catches empty air instead of the sliding door, but it's like the boy doesn't even notice. His eyes continue to stare at some unknown point as if he doesn't register shouta standing horrified and frozen in the doorway.

So he doesn't. Not well, at least.

Izuku is quirkless, but that doesn't explain why he can't seem to stay dead.
He always gets a choice, between two doors. One to move on. One to stay behind (to stay alive).
There’s some days he doesn’t want to come back, and the longer he spends in that room between two doors, he thinks that that part of him is right. He’s still got a list of what he wants to get done first, but when push comes to shove...Izuku will fall first.
(Home has not been alive in a long time).
(Izuku has always been good at saving everyone except himself.Even in death, he is a miracle).

Summary
Midoriya Izuku has always been written off as weird. As if it's not bad enough to be the quirkless weakling, he has to be the weird quirkless weakling on top of it.
But truthfully, the "weird" part is the only part that's accurate. He's determined not to be a weakling, and in spite of what it says on paper, he's not actually quirkless. Even before meeting All-Might and taking on the power of One For All, Izuku isn't quirkless.
Not that anyone would believe it if he told them.
