“I don’t expect you to know me, and I don’t expect you to remember my face when I leave,” the man said. “While it has been decided that your organization has the most resources and money available to go forward with this case, there is a fear that you don’t have the tact needed for the mission. The skill someone from my organization can provide.”
“And what if we decide their help is unnecessary,” Izuku asked. He and Bakugou made a good team. A better than good team.
“If you do not want to work with us, then the case will no longer be your concern,” the man said, “But I assure you these heroes are the best. However, my recommendation, the one we need for this case, is on top.”
Both heroes looked at the case file in sync. The only print on the top file: Ghost.
Midoriya and Bakuogu are tasked with working with another hero in order to find and stop villains from unleashing a bioweapon, blind to the fact that the hero, known only as Ghost, knows more about them than he's letting on. He intends to keep it that way.

Summary
Izuku already lost it all. He lost Kacchan, and something like that never really heals. He could not lose Shouto, too.
Thankfully, Shouto isn’t dead, not completely. He's some kind of a ghost, looking down on his body that still clings to life, while his soul clings to Izuku. And he isn't the only one hanging on.
Turns out, Bakugou is still here, too.
Or, how ghost Katsuki helps kick Shouto back to the world of the living so that Izuku won't have to grieve another dead boyfriend. At least, he insists that's the reason.
Hell, maybe he can even be a hero one last time.

“Will you read it when you get there?” Shouto asks.
“You’ll have to wait ‘til next year to find out.”
Shouto nods. As much as he wishes Touya didn’t have to leave, he knows it’s unavoidable. He holds onto the promise of ‘next year’ as he lights the candle and gently lowers the lantern into the water. It bobs in front of them for a few seconds before the current carries it into the middle of the river to join the others.
Once a year during Obon, Touya returns for a few days to visit Shouto. No matter how many years pass, saying goodbye again is always hard.

It’s not often that Shouto initiates conversation and Natsuo learned not to take it to heart. That’s simply how Shouto is. He knows his little brother cares because every now and again, he’ll receive a cute picture of a cat or some outdated meme followed by a question mark. Something that lets Natsuo know that Shouto is thinking of him.
So, when his phone chirps with a text from his brother, he looks up so fast it makes him dizzy. It’s likely another picture but he has to be sure. He’d spent enough time in his life not being there, a quick peek won’t kill him.
Shouto: Hey. I have a question.
Shouto: Several, actually.
