Summary
During a mission at an old Hydra bunker, Bucky has to make a decision that changes how Steve looks at him, and it hurts. There's really no easy around it, though. Bucky isn't the same man Steve knew, and the sooner he comes to terms with that, the better.
Mild Tony and Bucky flirting ahead, no true relationships aside from the friendships they found along the way.

Summary
Not all missions go as planned. Tony Stark knows this, but it doesn't exactly prepare him for having to face the chance of losing something important to him.
There's not a lot of descriptive language in here, but blood mention and like, you know, maybe don't do what Tony does when someone's coughing up blood, but Tony's a genius, he's not smart.

Summary
Bucky's POV on the events during Bad Timing, Perfect Shot. Because I'm extra and had to write both of their sides.
Warning for blood, for description of pain and injury. And warning for repeat dialogs from the other story. It is literally the same situation, but from Bucky's eyes.

Summary
It's the fake boyfriend scenario all over again. Young Tony Stark thinks his drunken idea is brilliant and he's found the perfect candidate to help him mess with Howard. The only problem is, does Tony really know his fake boyfriend? Are they actually fake boyfriends? Is there more going on here than either of them planned?
And what is Bucky's favorite color after all?
This story sort of ignores the existence of Thanos.

Summary
Bucky Barnes is new to the Tower and he's getting used to everyone, sort of. A chance encounter and an odd comment from Tony Stark leads him to learning how to take care of himself again, along with gaining a new friend and relearning how to care for that friend.
Bonus Clint Barton being a good guy.
TW: Bucky discusses elements of his treatment at the hands of Hydra. Particularly relating back to how they got him to rely on his handlers, a theme I touched on in a previous story, These Walls Did Talk.

Summary
Bucky Barnes has a protective side, and even through his own problems, his friends are important. Some of them are a little more important than others. Why else would they get his attention every single night for weeks on end?
Warning for description and discussion of panic attacks

Summary
Set in modern times, James Buchanan Barnes comes home from a tour after being held captive and losing his arm. He now has to learn how to live with his loss, and figure out just what happened at the enemy camp to leave him feeling the way he is. Is he imagining things, or did they truly mess him up?
This is an alternate universe origin story, not just for Bucky, but for Steve Rogers, Tony Stark, and Peter Parker. This story is set in Bucky's point of view, so we don't get full details of some of the other bits, but we learn things at the same time Bucky does.
Serious warnings for for flashback scenes, trauma responses, violence of many kinds, and cruelty. Also, language. From almost everyone.
This is written in snippets and set largely in introspective language. Through Bucky's eyes.

Summary
"SHIELD being?"
"That's the team that helped us create what we needed, got Steve on track with the serum, and got us the info we needed to get to you." Tony shrugs. "Turns out they had a lot of double agents in their midst, so we dissolved that partnership and the Avengers are a solo group now. Like Justin Timberlake after N'SYNC went under."
"I hate that I know who that is because of you," Bucky mutters. "They sounded awful. They deserved to disband."
"Says the Backstreet Boys fan," Tony snaps playfully. "It's a wonder we ever agree on what to eat for dinner."

Disclaimer: the characters' opinions about certain boy bands from the 90s are the opinions of the characters alone and do not reflect the opinions of the author. The author made their parental units listen to both mentioned boy bands on repeat so much so that the author's parental units knew which song was coming on by the first couple notes... just saying.

Tony reacted more rationally to the video of his parents' death? What if Zemo had to pull a different trick to try and tear the Avengers apart? What if that act only served to draw two of them closer together than Zemo could have hoped?
