Summary
They said absolute power corrupted absolutely. Others were of the mind that those who were corrupt often had absolute power. For five seconds, Steve Rogers was going to be the most powerful man in the entire universe. He wasn’t sure of which camp he fell into.
When Steve Rogers is offered the mission to return the Infinity Stones back to their original points in the timeline, he accepts with no questions asked. Steve successfully manages to return all of the stones. All except for one. With his body deteriorating from the affects of extended time travel, Steve has no choice but to resort to whatever it takes to stay alive.
Now blessed with a second chance at life, Steve has only one mission left. Fix everything or be doomed to watch it fall to pieces once more.

Through it all, there's one man who answers the call when Tony needs a friend, despite Tony's strong belief the Captain doesn't care for him. Maybe there's more to this friendship than Tony thought, and maybe there really is something here worth holding onto.

After all, he's survived Afghanistan, having his arc reactor removed, and a fight to the death, he can do this.Then comes palladium poisoning.
Then comes a second a child, in the form of Peter Parker who is left orphaned by Hammer and Vanko's drones.
Then comes a demi God hellbent on world destruction.
Then comes the Avengers.
And if life weren't crazy enough, then comes Steve Rogers, Captain America, who just might be a decent Alpha after all, although Tony probably won't have time to find out, what with Shield being Hydra, Bucky Barnes being alive but brain addled, a pyromaniac blowing shit up, and oh yeah, some lunatic witch and her brother with a vendetta against him, and if that is not enough, there's General fuck face Ross, something up with the UN, another deranged alien, and just maybe another pregnancy.- Language:
