Description:

The Uchiha Clan is massacred and all fingers point to Itachi, but there are many taking advantage of the chaos caused. In the backstreets of Konoha, a child is killed. In the office of the Hokage, a shinobi is killed. In the graveyard of a Clan, a child screams.

Konoha is thrown into disarray, but Godaime Hokage, Shimura Danzo, will ensure that Konoha remains strong in these times. Not everyone, however, is happy about this turn of events--and the peace shatters.

The section it's from specifically is: 'seeds will grow/filling our empty hearts/new, green, shoots unfurling/the sunlight bakes the dirt. the rains fall. noone knows what lies beneath'.

Since this series has been called the Farmer!Shikamaru series in my files, I figured this would work. There are roughly four uneven sections of the series:

AUTUMN - How everything ends, slowly, and then suddenly.
WINTER - How you fight to keep going out in the cold, but things do not necessarily get better.
SPRING - Learning to grow things, learning to let yourself grow, and finding something blossoming slowly.
SUMMER - The heat that comes before a bushfire, the crackling thunderstorms that break the humidity, the way it burns everything it touches.
