Summary
In a different universe, Viktor never manages to stop Jayce from committing suicide that night. That only leaves him guilt ridden and affected from that very day. Every day he is haunted by Jayce, which drives him to investigate the Hextech theory even more. Turns out it's hard when your partner is dead and you don't understand most of the notes. Eight years later there's progress, but something - or rather someone - tries to stop it, and the questions is: can Viktor recognise reality from fantasy?
