He hated watching his beloved Eve hang off of him, listening to his constant chattering as if he was speaking some divine truth, openly holding each other like no one else mattered, and trading glances that only they knew the answers to. He hated it. Every second of it only made it harder and harder for Ainosuke to stomach it and when he finally did snap, all it did was leave him hollow inside. No closer to having his Eve hold him or understanding why someone like Eve would even waste his time on some second rate skater. All Ainosuke could do was stare bitterly at his memories as they drove off, trying desperately to understand the one question about Reki Kyan that seemed to plague him around every corner these last 2 years…

There were many reasons to stay away from the forest covered mountains at night. The lack of visibility, the numerous winding paths that could lead inexperienced climbers in circles even during the day, the local wildlife that could cause serious damage to any one stupid enough to try and taunt them, you name it and there’s a reason why people stay away.
Which is why Sai found himself second guessing all his life choices as he stared at the hidden side entrance going up the mountain.
The plan was simple. Hike up the mountain to an abandoned mining factory, meet up with Mimi and everyone else, enjoy a few drinks, and maybe get lucky with a hopefully drunk enough Mimi. Yet, as he started to cross the barrier leading into the forest, something in the howling winds told him,
‘You’ll never see home again….’
