Cleaning out Ephyra of monsters is just another job based on divine caprices to Heracles. Until he meets the champion of Olympus that he's told to expect: an inexperienced yet proud warrior, a witch, and, most of all, one of the gods herself. All things that he's learned to despise.

“Kneel.” She commanded, the voice of a ruler ringing out around them. She leaned away from his ear, leaning her head back to stare into his eyes. Her own were sharp and cold, the face of someone not to be fucked with.
Prometheus only chuckled faintly, the rumble of his laughter spreading from his chest to hers. “And why should I do that?” He asked, amused.
Melinoe herself answered smugly, “How else will you reach me when I show you the blessing of a goddess?” Her smirk was dangerous; a finely tuned blade she welded in the same way she had watched Hera use it to cut through Zeus’s defenses. An offensive charm against obstinate men.
A hum buzzed through her from the titan, and she could feel her own skin alit in a flush when he purred out, “Oh, godling, I can show you how.”

"Ah." A voice sighs, rough and thin, threaded through with relief. "There you are."
Heracles frowns, bow lowering, and chains clink. Nereus had told him the Titan was imprisoned here, undergoing Zeus's torments. And the Titan is chained here, but there is a distinct lack of torments. The eagle that is supposed to be eating Prometheus's liver appears to be nesting next to Prometheus's head instead, legs tucked underneath its body like a brooding hen.
