Summary
This motley collection, less hidebound than a hide sack (with bits sticking out), was carried up only by a messenger imp who thought it looked like secrets. Perhaps it was. For how much, if any, did they expect to survive? Certainly, it presents no great myth, though mythic figures are present. No star-ordained ritual lies within these pages, though references are made to their ending. There is no reason why this should be what remains of the Fall of the Commonwealth.

Summary
They march.
Their group is sizeable, a good hundred of the revolution’s agents trailing behind a small number of figures clad in the white raiments of their ascension. Hedwyn, their Golathanian, walks arm-in-wing with his Fikani; Jodariel, Soliam Murr incarnate, has a tight hold on Ignarius’ hand, their horns knocking together affectionately; Ti’zo, the spitting image of his grandfather, sits atop the wild hair of Chae, who’s all but skipping alongside Almer and Dalbert of the Fate. Seven of the eight Scribes and their friends, their entourage, marching shoulder to shoulder down the alabaster streets.
Oralech stands alone at the head of the procession, dressed in the uniform of a field medic that marks him even more recognisable than the bright robes of those behind him. He would have donned his raiments as well, out of a sense of uniformity if nothing else, but the Demon’s clothing no longer fit his diminished frame.
He is no Demon, and he is no Scribe. He is the star that beckons them ever onward.

You catch the way Hedwyn's eyes crinkle when he laughs and file that memory away for later, too, after folding it into an elegant paper crane. It's so easy to pretend, when Hedwyn begins to talk about the ballad's history and deeper meaning, that it's about you two, and that it's you who he's thinking of right now. So easy to lose yourself in that fantasy, too, even knowing that a fantasy is all it'll ever be. You know that - and it's alright.
The fact that Hedwyn already has someone waiting for him back in the Commonwealth doesn't have to change anything about the Reader's love for him.

In this Fic Bruce is alive however Damian is currently living with Dick in the penthouse so let's just say he was in space when this happened.
On top of that I just want to clarify that Dick and Jason did not, in fact, go to their Proms (Tim took Steph due to the fact that they were still together at the time)
Dick didn't go due to the fact that he also wanted to take a guy and instead of like Damian's doing he just sorta accepted that he wasn't going to go.
