“One, are you okay?” Tetra asks, but there’s no time to respond.
Another gleam somewhere ahead of him, and Wind rolls again, but this time he doesn’t go unscathed. The ink rips past his shoulder, and though it’s barely a graze, it burns.
He gasps, his arm locking up instinctively in response to the unexpected pain, but he forces himself to raise his dualies again. He needs more light, and more space to work, and some cover would be nice, too.
“One?” Tetra asks, much more urgently this time.
“Found it,” he chokes out, and then has to dive behind an electrical box to avoid a shot through the head. “Or, it found me.”
Wind, Spirit, Tetra, and Four proudly make up the Inkopolis sector of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, working to monitor and shut down Octarian activity in the area. Things have been quiet for a while, but strange power outages have recently drawn their attention to Octo Valley and force them to investigate.
There are bets going around on whether wild sharks are responsible for causing the outages by chewing on the cables. Spoilers: it's not sharks.

Anyways, it’s splatfest, so what else do you do during such a time as an Inkidol? You dance, sing and fuck, or was it ‘you party’? Maybe it was sing & dance, party, then fuck, or at least that’s how Annabel and Lenore did it.

Just a Tumblr request I took a little too seriously, someone took advantage of my love for Splatoon idols. (They probably had no idea) I had a little too much fun with it to be honest, and messed around with Squidling/Octoling biology so this will be interesting. (Nothing too crazy mind you)

So I made like this one dumb Frye edit about a 1.5 years ago where I made her a stamper splatana devil and some people liked it and i really liked it so I finally deicded to do something with it and write some story stuff because yeah, it's cool I guess.
IMPORTANT!
This is just an AU story meaning that the overall plot is roughly the same. There are some additions and changes but incase it stands out it is because this is an AU and also because it's also my first real thing. Incase I expand on it there will obviously be more changes and all.So yeah this is basically just the first Chainsaw Man episode and manga chapter but it takes place in the splatoon world with Frye as the main lead. Have fun reading whoever reads this.

Summary
The Syndicate is a Splatoon-based story, taking place in an alternate universe that is, naturally, known as the SyndicateAU. There are no specific days of the month when I will post new chapters, I will simply post them as I finish refining the rp messages used in each chapter.
The main premise of the AU:
Right before the events of Splatoon 2, Callie and Marie step down from their position as the leaders of the NSS, handing the reins over to an Inkling woman that they whole-heartedly believed they could trust. That little, naïve mistake would lead the NSS into the path of becoming something hideous and cruel. It takes years for the Squid Sisters to take off their rose-tinted shades and realize how awful and irredeemable the NSS has become after they stepped down. But, after a known criminal is promoted to the Commander of Sector 3, they finally decide to break off and move into Splatsville, with the plan to create an entirely new faction to fight against the NSS. If they couldn’t fix it from the inside, they would destroy it from the outside. -
