Summary
“Areum, who are you talking to?” I call out as I make my way up to my daughter's room.
“I'm talking to Hoseok, appa.” She answers back through her closed door. I frown.
“To your doll?” I question as I stop in front of the door. I can hear giggles from two people. But my daughter's the only one in there, right?
“He's not a doll, he's a person.” She replies. I quickly open the door and am greeted by a worrying sight. My daughter is pouring imaginary tea for a brown-haired man in the same formal clothing as the doll we’d bought from the yard sale. The man even had the same smile and hairstyle as the doll.
“Who are you?!” I exclaim and my outburst seems to scare the man because he screams before… turning into the doll. What the hell?
