“Dance lessons aren't exactly high priorities for Sixes.” Aspen’s voice is sharp, his words laced with that familiar edge of bitterness.
Maxon nods slowly, sensing the prickly tone in Aspen's response, then again, most of what the guard said to him was prickly.
Aspen wouldn't even be caught dead learning to waltz, but the production crew insisted that some guards learn to dance so they can dance with the remaining selected girls while Maxon dances with each one for one of their stupid challenges.
Yet another way, Maxon Schreave was screwing him over.

Or: Maxon receives a call that a friend is dying. He just doesn't expect it to hit this hard.
Its years in the future. Maxon is 87, and he's had his share on thoughts of death and morality. He doesn't know what to think- he knows the final act of his life is coming soon, and he can't help but wonder if he did everything he was supposed to. If there was some sort of grand master checklist he had to complete before death, if he will pass feeling fulfilled in life to the fullest extent. For one, he's recently gotten back into photography. He put it on the shelf awhile ago, and only started to get back into it when he realized that those captured memories was the last the world would truly see his perspective.
He's captured almost every memory he could think of for his children, for his wife, but none for himself.
But when he gets a call from an old friend asking him to complete one picture for her- albeit a bittersweet one, he realizes he might finally get his, private, memory.
Or: Aspen is dying, and Maxon visits him for a final time. They realize something they should've had years ago, and relish in the last few moments they have together.

Una continuación de "La Elegida" por Kiera Cass. Por momentos siento que no puedo superar esta saga y menos a Maxerica. He aquí lo que surge cuando encuentro inspiración. Espero que les guste! No sé si incluya eventos de "La Heredera", pero intentaré crear mi propia versión de lo que ocurrió antes de que Maxon y América se volvieran padres.
PD: Haré mi mejor intento por darles más protagonismo y personalidad a los personajes secundarios que al fin y al cabo no conocimos tanto, como Gerad, Carter, Nicoletta, Kota, etc. Porque siento que son personajes importantes y que conocimos muy poco. Esto incluye a los rebeldes. Siento que ambos grupos, los sureños y los norteños, merecen algo de protagonismo como antagonistas. Intentaré darles más "personalidad" a ambos grupos políticos. ¡Cualquier sugerencia y/o pedido y/o idea es bienvenida!
PS: No tengo nada contra Kriss, pero tal vez aparezca en algún momento y provoque algo de tensión en la trama. Pero al final, no será la villana de la historia. No prometo lo mismo con Daphne, ya que en "La Heredera" es canon que ella y América no se llevan bien.
