After waking up in strange world with no recollection of who she is or how she got there, an unnamed little girl finds an albino gorilla and follows him to find a place full of wonder, beauty, and chaos. As she meets strange humans and apes alike, some of which want to lift her up and some of which want to see her fall further. With three kings showing concern about the child, only one of them would show themselves as friend rather than foe (Alice in Wonderland-styled PotA AU).

"This human woman from your past," Maurice signed, "who was she to you?"
"Someone very dear to me."
A thoughtful rumble emanated from Maurice.
"We...wanted," Caesar began, the agony in his voice seemingly reaching far deeper than his wound. "A world built for the two of us."
"Humans and apes living together?"
"No. Just us."
Maurice's hands froze in mid-air.
