Noah wrinkled his nose, unfamiliar with the word. It sounded like a disease, not like Kris's but maybe a disease to the mind. Like rust on cars. He shook his head.
"Well, it's finding meaning or patterns when others wouldn't." She explained, moving her right hand that held a grey pen that only produced black ink. Noah focused on that more than her face since he wasn't exactly fond of looking people in the eye. "More often than not, people with this disorder get feelings of revelation, or like it says on your father's file: ecstasys."

This story follows a 25-year-old mechanical engineering and robotics prodigy named Noah Diaz, during his quest to earn money for his brother's medicine, while also struggling with his depression and an event that completely changed his life forever. Basically just a Steven Universe Transformers AU. I follow a very very basic outline of Steven Universe and change many plot points around to make it Transformers. I won’t be redoing all the episodes of Steven Universe, but I will take inspiration from specific ones. And on the other hand, I may create whole new stories with the cast to better fit the Transformers scope.
Also I decided to gender-bend the important human characters because I basically made all the gems male when I made them transformers lol.
