Frisk has done it—gotten to the end, gathered the souls, spared everyone… Yet, the barrier stands strong. Madness ensues when humans start falling down to the Underground again… and the true enemy manifests in the form of a glitch between worlds.
Chara is back. Papyrus has a gay awakening. You take the role of the player. Asriel reconnects with his feelings. Sans reconnects, in general.
(Kind of my thoughts on all three endings mixed together. A little AU-y, especially with Chara's story. May not be 100% accurate to the series, some bits may be cringe taken seriously, others may be out of character, but that's fine. Headcanon: Paps is 18-24, Sans is 26-30.)

Lyra, a devoted Undertale fan, decides to play god by rewriting the game's code to grant Asriel Dreemurr the happy ending he deserves. But when her actions pull her into the Underground itself, she finds herself trapped in the very world she tried to control.
!!!!This story contains graphic descriptions of violence, body horror, and themes of grief, trauma, suicide, and manipulation aaaand a lot more. While it may seem fluffy at first, darker themes emerge as the story progresses. There are still plenty of warm, comforting moments, but I don’t want to mislead anyone expecting a purely lighthearted tale!!!!
Also, this is very slowburn — Chara’s and the MC’s relationship progresses slower than you might expect. If you find yourself feeling frustrated with how I write Chara early on, please know it’s intentional and part of the slow build. Thanks for giving it a chance! <3

Or at least, that's what they used to do, now that humanity has lost its magic after the war (War? What war?) soulmates have only become a cute fairy tale or an expression of love for the wrong person. And how can you blame them, if you've spent your whole life without knowing about the existence of such a thing, you can't expect everyone to give the deserved value to a word like 'Soulmates'.

The world is in panic, there are humans against it, there are humans in favor... While you feel something inside your ribcage pounding hard, trying to escape towards the mountain... A year and four months. That's how long it's been since the Final Reset. Everyone has been living their best lives on the Surface. Sans, for one, couldn't be happier. The silly old woman he used to pun with is now his girlfriend. He's an awesome Dunkle and Not Dad Guy to Frisk, Chara and Asriel. Papyrus is finally living his best life and everyone is moving forward.
There's just one little caveat. One teensy little flaw in an otherwise happy ending.
Sans is dying. On the evening of his 27th birthday, no less.
Fortunately, a certain skeleton outside of space and time knows what to do.
"If you want to save Sans, all of you must be willing to pay the mental and emotional cost."
In order to bring Sans back to life, those closest to him will have to view his important memories. Along the way, the group will unearth all the skeletons in his closet...
...As well as their own.

Summary
Skeles (commonly referred to as Sanses) are playful, happy little pets who love to make their owners happy. Edge is delighted when he meets a very special Classic-type Sans named Sans (okay, not very creative) but is disheartened to learn that his owner, Papyrus (while great at showing his love) isn't giving Sans what his species needs to live long and healthy lives. So, Edge takes it upon himself to educate Papyrus on proper Sans handling, as well as letting him know that his Sans needs to breed soon. Conveniently enough, Edge has his own Sans (a willful Fell-type named Red) that would be the perfect mate. That is, if Sans wants to.
