Bernard Dowd's life is going pretty well. He's twenty-six, has a stable career, two incredible partners, and plenty of time for his hobbies. So, obviously, when things are going that good what better time is there to have a baby?
One heat and almost a week of mind-blowing sex later, he's excited to enter a brand new chapter of his life. All he has to do to survive nine months of pregnancy and all its related hurdles. Pretty straightforward, right?

Summary
Things had been good for Conner since the court awarded him personhood two and a half years ago. He's finally graduated high school, and he's even going to college at Metropolis University once summer ends. He's determined to make the most of his break to spend time with the people he cares about and to celebrate just how far he's come.
These plans fall by the wayside when Clark begins to inexplicably seek Conner out each night and forget what he's done by morning. Conner finds himself adrift in a world in which nowhere is safe, no one can help, and nothing he does ever changes the outcome. Is there any way out that won't further victimize them both? The pre-requisite of their co-parenting arrangement is that they can only negotiate it when Conner is gone, miles away, out of hearing distance. This creates opportunities and hardships alike as Lex and Clark navigate their twisted bond, neither ever sure of who has the upper hand until the final beat.

Eleven years on Clark is still healing and trying to move on from Lex - if the villain in question would let him. Clark is in Metropolis balancing raising three superpowered Kryptoian children on his own, his own Kryptonian nature, being Superman, his career, his friends and colleagues, and his growing feelings for Bruce Wayne.
At ten Kon has a lot of questions about his origins that his mother is struggling to answer. Compounded by the appearance of Flash's grandson from the future bringing dangerous news about the future of the world and the Super Family and what Lex Luthor's current plans could mean for the world forcing Lex into Clark and Kon's lives.

The window near the entrance to the diner shatters. Lois barely has time to get under the table, let alone pull Smith down with her, before the rest follow. There’s a scream, followed by shouting; when Lois looks up from under the table, she sees that there aren’t any casualties in the diner, at least. She moves up a little higher to peer out the window.
It’s a testament to the life she leads that her reaction to seeing Batman fighting a bunch of guys in the street is to roll her eyes.
