Summary
Before Copper-9 and the Core Collapse, on Earth, there was a wealthy family known as the Elliotts. They lived in a fancy manor in a swamp, where they raised (and abused) their only child Tessa. The teenager's only friends were the drones she repaired from the mounds outside of her house, whom all had their... own complicated relationships.
If things were different, then perhaps those complications would have remained... But small events are happening that will perhaps bring them all closer. To clear up the tension between a few of them and make them stand stronger. All it takes is a few small changes to bring friends closer together... and become a nice, proper family of misfits.
Changes are coming for the young Elliott and her favorite drones... all while ignorant of their inevitable future. But who knows how these changes might affect what comes after that?

J, the human, has organized a evening party (for humans) alongside her siblings (also human, also not biological siblings) hosted at the manor owned by Tessa the Human. Uzi, Doll, and Lizzy are among the human guests. Cyn isn't at the soiree; she's in the basement doing whatever creepy stuff she gets into down there. V and Tessa are puzzled by her absence, J is somehow simultaneously relieved and annoyed by it, and N is saddened enough to go fetch the ball of sunshine (who never actually sees the Sun). He should not have done that. She was counting on it. Cyn was planning on coming to the party anyway, when everything was in place. N comes back, changed. There is only one thing he wants to do. And six people he wants to do it with. They'd rather not, at least not like this. But Cyn loves N, N loves doing anything, and the girls will love N, no matter how long it takes. (Not very long. Giggle).

After all, such things as 'magic' never bothered the Common Man, so why should they care? This was useful to the governments of the world, who were content on keeping the Arcane and Divine contained to prevent chaos.
Despite this, however, witchcraft did occasionally bleed into society and cause problems, mainly through Ghouls and Ghosts. The Murders of the Heron High prom, the Camp 98.7 Ghoul Massacre, the eldritch battle of the Atlantic, it's a constant fight to keep the horrors of the Divine at bay.
And it's a fight that this group is always at the front of...
