She was a goddess among men, hunting them down to drain their wallets of everything they had. He sucked in a sharp breath anytime she passed him by to drop off a dude’s drink or to shout at someone who was catcalling her from across the room. Embarrassment and shame tickled at the back of his skull because he was breaking the cardinal rule of sleazy joints like this.
