In the same vein, there were innocent mice that had been stolen from, and they deserved to get their things back. Finally, she sighed heavily and rolled her eyes.
“Alright…I’ll go out with you! Tomorrow night at 8:00 PM…and don’t be late!”

Hello everyone! This time we have a story commission that I wrote for Shippo!
The Great Mouse Detective isn't exactly one of my favorite Disney classics, but that doesn't mean I don't like it. It helps that it does have some good furry bait in it, so I can understand why people like characters like Basil and Dawson a lot!
For this story, what we got is a "what if". What if Dawson was very traumatized by the horrors that he saw in the war and wasn't the same man...errr, mouse that he was now that he came back? And once he saw a cute mouse girl all alone and scared, he just couldn't help himself?
