Sam took a shaky breath and stepped inside. A dozen pairs of eyes flicked toward him, filled with curiosity and empathy. His skin crawled. How was he supposed to spill his darkest secret to a room full of strangers?
The man nudged him gently. “Each one gets easier,” he said. “Find a seat. You might not feel so alone by the end of this.”
Sam took a seat in the circle, the folding chair creaking beneath him. He felt too warm, despite the room’s chill, his body struggling to acclimate to this new environment. Sam and Dean haven´t spoken since their last hunt in Las Vegas. They had always agreed to never fall out over a girl, but Sam was finding it difficult to forgive Dean for what he felt was betrayal and overstepping the mark. Dean had done his best to try and explain to Sam, but this time the pain had run too deep, and Dean had crossed the line one too many times.
After disappearing earlier in the afternoon, Dean had driven away from the Bunker eventually finding himself in Womer, and had awoken the next morning after an evening of fun, with some clarity. Knowing he had to be the one to break the ice with his brother, he had driven back to the Bunker, positive that he was going to make Sam listen to him, whether he liked it or not.
Dean had returned to an empty Bunker, but clear in his mind about what he had to do, but as the hours past, he slowly begins to feel ill. Is it guilt or something more sinister?
