Genos admits he can't be treated with medications, and this statement provokes Saitama's memory of hurting Genos's feelings earlier that year, when Saitama obliviously treated him more like a robot and less like a human. Saitama is so overwhelmed with his guilt and the blatant truth that Genos was anything but a robot to him, that it leads to a surprisingly innocent and intimate conclusion between the two of them, that will change everything as they know it.
