They settle the barrel of the gun beneath their jaw and spin the barrel once more, fully prepared, once more, for it to be a blank. It always is. It always has been ever since they started. They pull the trigger, and all they hear is a click. And so they spin the barrel twice more, just to add to the stakes. The sudden teleportation sound triggered in front of 1x, manifesting in purple.
He knew that sound.

Noli materialized inches from 1x’s face, upside-down, Void Star humming obnoxiously loud in their face. A familiar christmas jingle began to play directly in 1x’s metaphorical ears. Noli grinned deviously, tilting his head in mocking.
1x recoiled a full three steps.
“NO. No, no, no. Go away.”
Noli did a little orbit around him. In a blink, a green and red present with hints of black glitter teleported straight into his hand.
“L000-K-K WH0’s got a [PRESENT]!” The insufferable deity shook the box at 1x with a little jingle.
“Stop.” 1x’s voice went flat.
“AWWW, K!LLJ0Y!” Noli exclaimed gleefully. Noli instead opted to shoving the gift into his hands.
“MARIAH K-K-CAREY W1SHES y-y-ou [HAPPY CHR1STMAS]!”

Can it get worse than being trapped in an endless, repeating cycle of deaths?
Oh, absolutely. 1x thought. You'd be a fool to think otherwise.
Truth be told, being a hunter in these eternal games of chase was far better than whatever 1x had thought his life would come to be. There wasn't much to make out of life when you were a creation of pure hatred and nothing more.
No past. No future. Just the way he liked it. Just the way he had always wanted. The only thing he could have hoped for was for things to get more interesting.
So when the biggest turmoil he had seen from this purgatory arrived in the forms of an unsuspecting red child and his father whose desperation was verging on insanity, 1x didn't have any reason to not watch the show go down.
Little did he know, he wasn't here to watch the fire.
He was part of it. And he would burn alive just like the rest of them.

'I won't kill you, if you teach me sign language.' Taph read it, staring at it a bit longer before pointing to himself. It was a good offer, Taph avoiding rounds of pain that Jason was in, for the exchange of education.
'Me?' Is what he seemed to convey to Jason. The killer nodded in response.
Taph stayed silent for a beat longer before the wings around him seemed to unfurl. He pointed towards the notepad, making a writing gesture with his hands. Jason fished out the pencil in the pocket of his jacket, handing Taph the notepad and pencil.
After a little bit of scribbling, Taph showed the words to Jason. 'Do you know the alphabet?'
A shake of Jason's head showed he in fact did not. Taph nodded, scribbling once again. 'We'll start with the alphabet.'
Or just Jason learning sign language from Taph.

Usually Elliot would be scoffing and reluctantly giving him a slice before demanding that he moved along. But here? Now? Elliot, the pizza boy who seemingly hated his guts since he arrived, was leading the one person he dislikes the most somewhere to stay for the remainder of the round, for 007n7 to rest. He could've thought it was for some sick joke, to make him reflect on what he had done for the team this entire time; absolutely nothing. His face seemed troubled, almost irritated by this sudden change in demeanour."
Elliot has been acting strange since he got Forsaken. It was only now, do the others pay attention to it.
Mainly Elliot centric but the survivors get their spotlight each. Their experiences when Work at a Pizza Place!Elliot was playing instead of their usual Forsaken!Elliot. They notice the inconsistencies that come with this realization and learn which one is real and which one is an illusion the Spectre us trying so hard to keeping them from finding out.
