She worked on the methane lines of Proteus, one of Neptune’s moons; and grew up to become an Iron Rat, a methane mechanic that would traverse the deathtrap maze of pipes. Her twin brother joined a corporation army to get off the moon colony and start gathering help for a revolution. Their plan came to a halt when his company was abandoned by their corporation on a hostile planet. With his life insurance payout, Marie abandons her job on Proteus and traverses to the last location on the planet Pandora, eager to find him or his body.
But her first day there is a disaster. Nearly killed by the local wildlife, Marie gets rescued and brought to Hyperion, a corporation that’s heavily invested in Pandora. She enters a contract marriage with the owner of Hyperion, a man known as Handsome Jack, who's hellbent on discovering the mysteries of the Vaults. Jack wants nothing to do with her romantically and forces his closest body double, Timothy, to make public displays of affection with Marie. And things only get more complicated when the bandit gang known as the Crimson Raiders manages to kidnap Marie, the scope of the group’s best sniper set on her.

Angel had worked with her father to kill the Vault hunters this entire time, believing if she did, they could finally live like a family together as he promised. Alas, she should've died from the Vault hunters after their fight, left to bleed out as they continued to go and kill Handsome Jack next; but she couldn't even die properly, laying at death's door before an unexpectedly being forced to live again by a certain siren for a second chance.
She's not the only begotten heir of an awful CEO though, nor the only one to be fought by Vault hunters. Katagawa Jr. barely survived after his suit malfunctioned, but after everything and coming back as a failure, his father sent him the one place he imagined his son would die quickly as an exile, Pandora.
In an odd twist of fate, the fallen heirs come across each other and realize they could be useful to each other and make a vague deal and agreement. To get off the shithole of Pandora and maybe kill the Calypso twins along the way. Though, they quickly run into problems as their past comes back with karma, haunting decisions and heavy daddy issues for them both. Can they make it without getting killed for being bastards and grow as people? You'll have to see! -

As a vault hunter, (and brand new citizen of Pandora), you have an instinctive hate for Handsome Jack. Why wouldn't you? He's tried to kill you and your friends countless times. However, once you take the fight to him on Helios, you're put in a situation that challenges your patience, to say the least. You would have never guessed you'd (unwillingly) share an escape pod with the Hyperion dictator himself whilst hurtling toward the surface of Pandora. Although you've seen some nasty battles before, being stranded on your brand new and unfamiliar home Pandora with the tyrannical president of Hyperion may be your hardest one yet.
