Summary
Compilation of ideas for future fanfics. Mostly so that I don't forget them but also writing them to see if there's any interest from people that would want to see them be written.
I might also post drabbles that pop into mind for these fanfic ideas as standalone one-shots. Either way this is a perpetual WIP with no consistent update schedule. Might also include art if I get inspired enough for both.

Summary
In the final strike that defines the Elders' victory over XCOM, a small group of alien traitors, the operative who captured them and the Ethereal One playing along with their insurgency escape the base. While one of their own lies dying, that Ethereal watches the others try their hardest to save his life, and from the ensuing small tragedy does he understand what he and the other Elders foolishly overlooked in their decision to conquer by force.

The former Imperial world of Thresa has been under the rule of the Tau Empire for five years, but recently rumor has arisen that a secret society of Imperial loyalists is planning something. In a bid to reassert control over the world and incorporate it more closely into the Empire, the Ethereal Ash'la has been sent to join her friend, a Fire Caste Shas'Vre named Hia'Min, in instilling the essence of the Greater Good among the people with her presence and oratory.
Little do the Tau know, however, but a Deathwatch Kill-Team has been sent to abduct Ash'la and ensure the world remains primed for revolution. As the game of cat and mouse begins and violence erupts upon the city of Novakar, will Hia'Min be able to protect her friend from the machinations of the Deathwatch? And how will her forbidden feelings for her friend and superior affect her judgement?

XCOM defeats the Elders in early 2036, ushering in an age of prosperity for mankind as ADVENT turns tail and runs, retreating from Earth wholesale. The destruction wreaked in the final battle has left an entire base destroyed, except for a small capsule held in a secure storage chamber that XCOM never found. 40 years later, The last Ethereal is awoken. The Great Catastrophe is still coming. The Elder's work is not complete.
