Summary
After everything that went down inside the crater, everyone had hoped that it was all over. The adventure was fun, but the pokemon, and the professor's research, looked like they were unstoppable forces of danger. Now, everything was calm. Until there's evidence that there's more underneath the surface.
Paradox pokemon have started appearing again. Not only in abundance down below, but on the surface of Paldea, causing concern among those that see these pokemon roaming. Florian and his friends had done their best to put a stop to the last remaining processes of the Professor's plan, and it looks like they'll have to again.

After dying in the Area Zero Underdepths, he suddenly found himself alive again. He's thankful for being alive, sure, but he's since been pulled from Blueberry Academy, since his grandparents don't exactly appreciate the school letting him die. He misses Juliana, though. A lot. So when the chance comes up to visit, of course he takes it.

Summary
Foxtail Amaranth had lived in Unova her whole life. But things went wrong, and she was given a way out, and now Fox is in Paldea enrolled in one of the most prestigious academies in the world.
Three people drag her into their lives. Nemona begs her to become champion ranked so they’ll be evenly matched. Penny helps the person asking her to deal with a gang of delinquents that were a bit too familiar. Arven drags her along on a quest to get herbs from giant Pokémon. And all the while, Director Clavell seems to be keeping an eye on her even though she’s done nothing wrong here.
As she grows alongside her Pokémon, as she learns how to exist here, with her partners and the people she can’t help but realize she likes being around, she will be dragged into situations of legendary proportions. A field trip to a distant land with new friends, a school back in Unova setting up an exchange program, trouble after trouble follows her.
But through it all, the gaping hole at the core of everything, the cavity in the heart of the region, it has a certain pull to it. After all, all roads lead to the great crater. Or at least that’s what some people say.

Yeah, no, this wasn’t a Poké Ball, Florian decided as he picked up the thing and turned it around in his hand. It wasn’t even a ball, he noticed; it had angular edges and flat surfaces, as if it were rendered by the same technology used to render a Porygon. In place of a button, it had some kind of latch, and there was also a tiny little hole at the top of it, for some unknown purpose. Holding it up to the sunlight, the strange, shiny surface of the item gave off a vaguely crystalline shimmer.
Florian gets his hands on a certain Hisuian Poké Ball. This does not end well for the Paradise Protection Protocol.
