The drummer wasn't a stranger to Mike's liking of it, of course, or to smoking it himself, as was common to most musicians of his ilk, except for the odd straight edge individual— anybody who'd been onstage for the past five years or so had to have come in contact with it at least once, either recreationally or with the intent to work under the influence. God bless rock-and-roll.
Peter nodded, and Phil laughed softly. “Okay, I see what you're getting at.”

Peter doesn't think that Tony should leave his wife and tries to come up with ways that this all could work out and make everyone happy in the end. On the other side of things, Mike gets an interesting surprise of his own with his new girlfriend Ruby...things are not what they seem with her either.
