Summary
It's almost the Iacon 5000. Everyone is preparing for the competition, but Chromia intends to put them all to shame by being first to cross the finish line. But then...everything changes. In a sudden turn of events, ex-miners Orion Pax and D-16 become a Prime and a ruthless warlord respectively, upheaving Chromia's entire life. It's not just a matter of racing anymore, it's a matter of survival.
Meanwhile, Ironhide, one of the new Prime's first recruits, has at last gained his t-cog. He vows to himself to use it well and to never, EVER betray his comrades like Sentinel Prime and the other nobles had done. So imagine his surprise when he is suddenly suspected of a conspiracy against his own commander and friend, Optimus Prime.
But he isn't suspected by EVERYONE. He finds unexpected allies in two mechs named Ratchet and Prowl. And when Chromia finds herself roped into the situation as well, she sets aside her differences with the Autobots in an attempt to win her old life back.
Chromia has always taken her cog for granted. Ironhide wouldn't part with his for the world.
But maybe, despite their differences, they're more similar than meets the eye...

Venus Quill has always had her head in the stars while her twin sister, Halley, has had her head lost in the clouds. Raised for the most part by a single father, Venus and Halley learned how to take care of each other younger than most. While Leo Quill did everything he could for his daughters and always showed up when they needed him, providing for his family meant taking longer hours than he would have liked. And when Leo uncovered the existence of the Autobots one night with his telescope, he agreed to not only help them but keep their secret as long as his little girls were kept out of it as well.
Though he should have known trouble would eventually find them, as it always does.
It started out so simply. Venus simply wanted to do some stargazing with her telescope just outside of town. She didn't expect for her telescope to be crushed underfoot by a giant robot who was fighting two other giant robots with the help of a fourth giant robot. All Venus wanted was to forget it ever happened. But when Optimus orders the human brought to base to protect her, he fails to account for Venus having an identical twin and both girls are pulled into the world their father has kept secret.

Bumblebee has been building... Horrifying replicas of Optimus Prime around the Nemesis, and Megatron doesn't know how much longer he can handle it.
In a desperate attempt to get it to stop, Megatron reaches out to the one mech he missed the most.
Optimus, plagued similarly by Bee's behaviour, quickly warms up to the sudden contact.
(This one is by far our longest fic yet. Genuinely dont know how we got to this point! This fic was originally inspired by a very fun comic, but neither me nor A can remember where we saw the comic originally or who made it. If anyone recognizes the similarities and remembers the comic, please tell us so that we can credit them for inspiring an absolute spiral of a fanfiction! It litterally went so much farther then we could ever know.)
UPDATE!!: Comic has been found! Crumb has been credited in the end notes of chapter one for being an absolutely amazing artist!!

After the Battle of Chicago, Sam Witwicky thought he'd finally be able to finally breathe in peace, finally able to catch up with the Autobots, and maybe even propose to the love of his life. However, the pillars that Sentinel brought Cybertron to Earth had an adverse effect of the lingering Allspark remnants in Sam, and he finds himself ripped into a new reality he didn't want to be in, with familiar yet somehow unfamiliar and even downright hostile faces, er, faceplates. However, he's faced worse odds, and he's determined to get back.
Or, Sam gets transported to the Transformers Prime universe and ends up messing up fate's plans for its inhabitants, for the better, or for the worse.
