When Iliana agreed to travel back to Ithaca with Polites and Odysseus, taking Odysseus' offer of asylum, she never expected the way back home to be filled with trials. The longer it takes to get back to Ithaca, the more tensions slowly begin to rise on the ship and when things finally come to a head, where will Iliana stand? At the end of it all, will she get to start the life she and Polites discuss on Ithaca? Or will it all end in tragedy?

[as I cross a marketplace that would likely be a prime target of the Greeks seeking spoils, my foot tangles in fishing nets and I fall, causing other items to fall noisily as my hands and right knee scrape harshly against the hard stone of the floor, a small weight from a set of scales glancing off my temple painfully.
Cursing my ill fortune, I try to get up quickly, but my left foot is still tangled and my ankle twists, red-hot pain lancing up my leg and making me involuntarily cry out as I fall back on my abused hands and knee.
I try to stifle the noise by covering my mouth with a hand, but it’s too late; someone heard.
I can’t even untangle my foot before a fairly tall, slender man in Greek armor carrying a spear moves quickly into the market, glancing around.
I have only seconds before he sees me, trying to blink back tears from the pain and terror coursing through me as I fumble with this blasted net.
“Who’s--oh…” He’s seen me! He’s coming over!]
AU where my OC, Iliana, is a priestess of Hecate in Troy, not related to Odysseus, and meets Polites on the night Troy is sacked. Sort of enemies-to-loves, but not exactly.

Summary
They say she's gone mad since her brother left. They say she's deep in denial of her brother's passing. They say her eye-patch covers a secret.
Little do they know they were only right about the eye-patch.
Iliana, younger sister to Odysseus and princess of Ithaca, serves as priestess to Hecate, praying to the goddess to protect her brother during the long war with the Trojans. She is overjoyed to hear the war is over and Odysseus and his fleet are coming home...until he never arrives back to Ithaca.
Driven to find answers about Odysseus by the arrival of suitors vying for her sister-in-law's hand in marriage (despite no confirmation Odysseus is dead), and worry for her brother, she finds a spell in the temple to locate someone lost...and a Moly plant. Iliana uses the plant and casts the spell, which nearly costs her life, leaving Iliana able to see visions of what her brother endures in his arduous journey home. However, she is helpless to do anything about what she sees, only able to reassure Penelope and Telemachus that Odysseus is alive and trying to return to them.
