She also owed something to the people who suffered so much because of her incompetence, she didn’t know what though. Only her life seemed equal in weight, but she doubted it would do any actual good now that the danger was over.
And the champions who fell that fateful day deserved a proper thanks and apology from the princess who had sent them to their deaths. Her father’s grave also sat upon a mountain in the great plateau, and while her feelings about the man were complex, she still mourned the man who had once loved her so dearly.
So her and Link were to embark on a cross country trip, just them and their horses in the newly freed land she had seen so little of and he had forgotten.

Or: Zelda and Link have had a few months since the end of the Calamity to gather their wits, and in Zelda’s case, relearn how to have a physical body. Her and Link want to give proper goodbyes to their friends who died in battle. Zelda deals with her own guilt along the way.

Link wakes up with no memory and is just finishing the snowy shrine on the Great Plateau. To his surprise a small Gerudo child covered in animal pelts. After feeding the child and child finds out that Link has no memory and seems safe. The child gives his name as Ganon. Link look fate in the eyes and said fuck you, my child. Link with no memory gathers an odd-looking family, but he loves them and gonna stop the calamity at the same time.

When you can't fly on your own, store bought is fine. Link wakes up in a cave. Something is missing, something just as important to Hylians as their pointed ears to let them hear the gods. When they descended from the sky they had to keep their soul-birds somehow.

Rito Village is undergoing a severe blizzard, one that threatens to cause a terrible famine for the Rito, whose apparent source appears to be a large, ever present cloud. Tulin reasons that, as the best Rito warrior and someone with masterful control over the wind, he should fly towards the source of blizzard, and hopefully stop it from starving the village.
However, as he finds his bow being stolen by an Aerocuda, he as well discovers himself to be in the misfortune of meeting one of Hyrule’s newest, and deadliest yet, monsters. To put it simply… it is not a good day for him.
