“No, we need to keep looking for him. You cannot replace him.”
“Why not?” the king demanded.
“Because he is my husband,” Ronan shouted. All around them the court gasped and whispered. He could see Henry silently mouthing a string of curses. Ronan quickly looked to Gansey for his reaction and saw only confusion on his face.
“You married your servant?” the king asked in furious disbelief.
