Stolas' heart skipped a beat. He honestly thought Blitzø wasn't listening to him when he read. Now he realized that wasn't the case. The imp nudged him lightly to get him out of his mind.
“Go on. Show me more constellations.”
Stolas is unable to sleep well at night and Blitzø has the idea of taking him to see the stars.

Is it too much to ask for Stolas and Blitzø to have a real relationship? Apparently so. Stolas manages to tell Blitzø that he wants something more, but Blitzø doesn't realize that he wants something more WITH HIM. Thus, their Moonlit night deals come to an end. Both hurt and heart broken, they take to dating apps to fill the void. I wonder who they might per chance meet as they try to find a rebound?

He'd imagined that leaving Stella would be different than this, that his daughter would eventually get to leave home, have her own palace that he'd have customarily built to her liking, maybe settled down with a nice person (or not - Octavia never really seemed interested in that sort of thing) and she would be happy. Then, only once he knew that she was safe and happy, he'd divorce Stella, and be able to pursue a certain imp who had a silent 'o' at the end of his name. He'd get to move into Stolas' palace, they'd put up new pictures, and they'd make it their own, washing away all of the unhappy memories that had taken place in the confines of the building. Or, if things happened sooner rather than later, Stella would leave, Blitz and Loona would move in, and they'd all live as one big family.
But no. Things like that only happen in fiction.

Stolas turned around to hug Blitzø close and nuzzle his beak into Blitzø's shoulder.
"M'kay," Blitzø chuckled. "Good Birdie. You think we could move to the couch? Or the carpet, at least? We can put all the pillows 'n cushions on the floor 'n make a nest."
Nodding, Stolas used the counter to pry himself off of the floor and to his feet. He stared absently at the tiled floor.
"C'mon," Blitzø whispered, large hands wrapping around one of Stolas' to guide him to sit on the couch. "Siddown, Stols. I've got ya."
Stolas allowed Blitzø to lay him down on the couch, nuzzling the imp's hip when his skull met Blitzø's lap.
"There's my guy." Blitzø smoothed out Stolas' puffed-up feathers with gentle fingers. "Just relax. Listen to me, 'n the traffic outside."
