Summary
Nico Robin is a reporter that usually writes stories on archaeological finds, but unfortunately those stories don’t sell and her boss wants her to find a more exciting story. Robin decides to write about local boxing tournament in Dressrosa at the Corrida coliseum. There she does interviews with the fighters, including a mysterious tattooed man named Trafalgar Law. Everything about him at first infuriates her, but eventually he comes around and they begin to connect.

The ground rumbled, shaken by idling engines and blaring music, and Cavendish felt the thrum in his bloodstream. The air crackled with energy, with adrenaline, and tension, and anticipation, and when Bartolomeo stopped in front of him, he wondered if it was the thrill of the night making his heart race, or if it was just him.

Usopp returns back to his temple from the Games, missing his friends and trying not to fall into too deep of a depression after being separated from them so soon after they were reunited, but human gods have to follow the rules, especially Usopp. Being an unpopular god was hard, being a god of misfortune that brought bad luck and little hope to people was even harder.
God Usopp finds that life could get even harder when new priests are welcomed into his temple and start turning his life upside down.

Sort of connected to Through the Dark (https://archiveofourown.to/works/7919362) with non-canon crew and details. Note: in some places I refer to them as Triple-X instead of the Ideo Pirates because it flowed better even though that's the canon name.

Ideo and Bluegilly went from strangers to best friends in just under three days, and a group of disparate individuals became a Grand Fleet. How did they go about getting to know one another and making these decisions? This is one attempt at bridging the gap. Actual scenes from the anime included but either glossed over or rephrased.
Note: I got tired of waiting for the cover stories to finish to get all the details exact, so there's some ambiguity about Hajrudin's ship. Don't care wanna post. (edited 11-2-17 to include new info from chapter 884)
