Summary
One year following the cataclysmic Merge, seventeen-year-old Imperian Ivana Verdigris escapes into a past Ninjago using a stolen Imperian time travel prototype; only to discover that time travel has rules, and that she has been aged back down to twelve, the same age she would have been if she had lived in Ninjago from the start.
Imprisoned and stripped of her identity, she is thrust into a mysterious Tournament of Elements, where she meets a group of teenage heroes and must fight to make it out alive if she wants to have any hope of saving everyone— and preventing the Merge.
Unfortunately, before she can do that, there's the whole business of having to save the world every now and then.

“I was not overpowered.” The other growled, feline features twisting up into a snarl. “Those two got lucky. That is all.”
“You were incapacitated by two children. But no matter, we traded up from that baby dragon anyways.” She smiled, gesturing towards the door in front of her. “My research tells me that this one can provide much more power than your usual dragon. And, it doesn't bite.”

What if the Photacs got to Lloyd before Zane? What if they broke in just a little bit sooner and managed to grab Lloyd while he was unconscious? Well after what he's done Imperium is in an energy crisis, it's only reasonable that they use him instead, right?
