Like proposing to Yasha.
Yet, this is far more terrifying.
And the fact that you don’t feel that fear until you’re knee-deep in the trenches, is what makes it so much worse.
Beau blames Jester for it, since she was the one to draw up a gorgeous sketch of Yasha sitting in a windowsill, cradling a bundle in her arms while white-feathered wings sprouted from her back - enveloping both herself and the bundle she held to her chest.
Beauregard Lionett hasn’t been able to get that particular image out of her head ever since.
