At only 18 years of age, Bailey Jor-El, daughter of Lara and Jor-El, is sent to Earth along with her baby brother Kal-El and Cousin Kara Zor-El. But on the way there, her ship gets knocked off course. What will happen after being in a space vortex for 15 years?

El Doctor ha pasado por mucho últimamente. Se vio obligado a abandonar a su mejor amiga Donna Noble y su propia muerte se acerca a solo 4 golpes de distancia, por lo que, al llegarle un mensaje de aquella extraña arqueóloga que conoció en La Biblioteca donde lo citó en Krypton decide acudir intentando distraerse y levantar su animo.
Había estado buscando un tiempo alguna excusa para visitar el planeta de origen del héroe más grande de la Tierra, solo por debajo de él, claro está. Sin embargo, las cosas tienden al desastre desde un primer momento al descubrir que fue dejado plantado, y al ser encerrado por la xenófoba civilización Kryptoniana se ve privado de su TARDIS, a realmente poco tiempo antes de que el planeta se vuelva inestable y condene a todos sus habitantes.
¿El Doctor podrá resolver la situación sin alterar la existencia del hombre del mañana? ¿Cómo puede hacerlo, si para traer esperanza a aquel mundo tendría que privar a la Tierra de su salvador, contraviniendo las propias leyes del tiempo?
