Light was sent back in time to the moment of his birth. Living life again gave him plenty of years to plan for when he had the Death Note again. Plans that were heavily influenced by Light realising that the feelings he had for L wasn't only always hate.
Light always went after what he wanted. So did Kira.

A serial killer is on the loose, what a surprise, really, but this time, it's not Kira. This serial killer seems to have a fixation on vampires, their victims only dying by wooden stake through the heart. L is starting to get bored with the repetitiveness of it all, about to make a move to close in on the killer himself, but... Cause of death unknown? That doesn't make any sense....

AKA I'm shit at writing summaries but I had to for this fic because it's the first one i'm taking semi-seriously. Basically this is a fanfiction about vampires Lawmane + there's not gonna be any smut (unlike my previous works that I orphaned cuz they're all shit) but there might be a little bit of graphic violence in the future so watch for if the content warnings ever change anyways that's it.

Summary
Yagami Light had two huge regrets in his life: (1) killing L Lawliet and (2) letting the whole Death Note situation get so out of control that he ended up dead too. Plus, the life as a Shinigami sucked. So, when the Shinigami King came up with a proposition that would give him not only his life back, but also another chance to be with L, it wasn’t really a hard decision to make.
