There are really no good reasons to come to Yharnam, especially generations after your family fled it, but a blood cancer killing you might be as close as it gets. Cecilia is desperate enough to try blood ministrations. Shouldn't kill her any faster, anyway. With for only company the journal of a crazy aunt, she journey towards the seat of the Healing Church.
She was actually quite surprised to find a cure there, and even more so to get caught in the Night of the Hunt. Cue a doomed attempt to get out of this with all of her limbs, her sanity and with any luck her health relatively intact. She might even succeed!

Miss Hunter (middle-aged lesbian who's seen some shit) has come from far away, seeking to overcome the ravages of a disease that's left her alone and frightened. Rumours of Yharnam's miracles inspired a long journey, only to compel her to undertake a much longer one, through impossible spaces, nightmares, and madness. ***If I can keep this going into a second season then I imagine characters will start getting some, but this is a disappointingly sexless run of ten episodes, and even I'm kinda bummed about it, so there's my motivation to keep writing. 1st season is totally complete, I'm just taking a few days between updates to edit and pick at the text. Also, I wrote the first draft of this a couple of years ago, and at the time I didn't really have an audience in mind beyond a couple of people from my writing group who weren't familiar with Bloodborne, so some stuff is over-explained in keeping with the script format.

The war between Vilebloods and Executioners has made the Bloody Crow of Cainhurst into the vampiric beast he is today. He is a fiend of bloodlust and death, with only his Queen to control him.
When Logarius' genocide attack wipes out all of his kinsmen and King, he must travel beyond Cainhurst gates to collect Blood Dregs for his Queen. By doing this, the Queen may gain the strength to birth a new era for the Vilebloods.
While invading other lands and murdering nonstop, the Bloody Crow stumbles upon Alfred (an Executioner) and has the most bizarre urge to invite him back to his homeland for some Cainhurst hospitality.
Poor Alfred is fooled into believing he has befriended an innocent traveler with the sigil of Summons he needs to rescue Master Logarius, but what lies within the stronghold of Cainhurst is far beyond what he has ever imagined...
