An old friend of Hank's makes a haunting return to the Lieutenant's life, kidnapping Connor and sending him bits and pieces of the android each day. If that wasn't enough to make both Hank and Markus worried, it may be the least of their problems. Androids are going missing all over Detroit, and Hank is not only certain his "friend" is behind it, but that Markus is a prime target.

Markus gets into trouble after a run-in with Leo. When he can't turn to North, Simon or Josh, he goes to Connor. Connor barely knows him, but it's late and it's raining and everything about Markus seems off--even he can tell that. Obviously, he can't turn him away now.

The Revolution is far from over, Markus knows. There are so many changes that will have to come; socially, politically, legally. What he didn't realize is that spending so much time with Connor would make some of these changes much more...personal.
Connor is lost, searching for a new mission and Markus can help. But he's beginning to think that it might not be as straightforward as all that, now.
