Kopeke couldn’t speak his language, not the way Matoro could, but over the centuries of life in Ko-Koro most Ko-Matoran could at least pick up on his tone. Right now, he sounded annoyed, maybe a little tired, definitely quite frustrated. Matoro shifted his weight. “Yes, Turaga,” he said in the same tone of voice. He looked back at Kopeke, an embarrassed smile on his mask. “He wants you to walk me home. He’s afraid I’ll keel over from exhaustion before I get there.”
Matoro has been so busy lately that he hasn't been able to come see Kopeke. Kopeke understands, of course. But that doesn't mean he doesn't miss him when he's not around.

After Mata Nui used his remaining power to reform Spherus Magna and was forced back into the Ignika/Mask of Light, the said mask lying dormant, it was easy to see his close confidants hurting after it all
The Matoran knew behind the facades of their beloved Toa, that they were hurting and breaking on the inside for the loss of their father, the Toa Nuva and Takanuva were the closest you could get to Mata Nui's own children without them needing to be born
While the Agori could easily see that Ackar, Kiina, Gresh and even Berix were grieving as well despite their own facades of the loss of their close friend who helped give the Agori and Glatorian the strength and will to rise against the united army of Skrall and Bone Hunters, unite the villages and defeated Tuma

When Nuparu's newest invention malfunctions, Whenua and Nuju find themselves stuck together for a couple of days. They do their best to act professionally about it, despite the situation bringing millennium-old emotions bubbling to the surface.
